Nothing Gourmet about them except cost

Whisky Lovers Deluxe Hamper

You would think that a hamper with this title would include the whisky wouldn't you?
IT DOESN'T
Even if you want to add a bottle of whisky to the hamper not only is there very little choice but what they do offer is extremely expensive

Nice product but UNRELIABLE DELIVERY PARTNER - don't expect on time delivery

Unfortunately Gourmet hamper is using star track as their delivery partner and they are incredibly unreliable and unhelpful as you can see , most one the 1 star reviews relate to bad delivery experiences. I too had an important date for delivery which was missed with tracking history showing the item going in and out of transit with no explanation. I rang both Star Track and Gourmet hamper and both were unhelpful and unapologetic. It's a shame that Gourmet hamper is using this service as it is damaging their reputation and quality Show details

Horrible customer experience

I ordered a condolence hamper for a friend who had a family member suddenly pass. You would think under these circumstances they would go above and beyond to deliver the hamper. I was advised the driver couldn’t locate the address (despite other companies being able to deliver to this address within 24 hours) and they were not able to get the delivery company to try a second time. They said they left it at the post office and contacted my friend but it has now been returned as it wasn’t picked up. Weeks later the hamper still hasn’t been delivered. So very disappointed with the service. Will never use this company again. Show details

The only thing Gourmet is the price

Ordered a sympathy basket for an elderly neighbour who lives in a house where it can be left by Courier. Not only was it not attempted to be left, the parcel was left at the Post Office and a note saying she would have to collect it was delivered. Natasha in customer service didn’t care and just blamed Australia Post, even though it was supposed to be delivered by Star Track (which is all over the website). A valentines day surprise!!!

Ordered a $140 valentines day gourmet basket as a surprise for my wife on Valentines Day. Despite ordering it well in advance and selecting delivery on Valentines Day (14 Feb), the surprise for my wife will be that it wont actually arrive on Valentines Day (she will be so thrilled not to receive her surprise). Emailed customer support who basically said 'not their problem' and point you at their disclaimers around delays with couriers due to COVID. If that's the case, why take my money and give me 14 Feb as a delivery date. Last time I order via them.

Terrible customer service

Delivered an order a month before preferred delivery date and tried to shift blame to me when the order confirmation clearly stated the date. No ownership of error and a dismal offer of a voucher as compensation. Not surprised they are affiliated with Hampers with Bite as the customer service from both business has been deplorable. I have never dealt with such incompetence, very disappointed

Gourmet Basket cases

Aware that there were transport delays across the country due to COVID and increased use of online ordering, I ordered a Gourmet Basket containing French champagne for my mother's 90th birthday, since I could not visit her as she lives interstate. I placed the order 16 days in advance of required delivery date. Sadly, in spite of the agent's reassurances (I phoned in my order), it was not despatched until the day before required delivery. At this point (4 days later) it still has not arrived. The company has fobbed me off with automated responses. They cannot seem to modify their processes to accommodate expected delays, no matter how much advance warning they have. Don't bother with them.
