ultimately dispatched. When we followed up with their team regarding this issue, we were simply informed that a mistake had been made. We are truly disappointed with the level of service provided, as one of the key reasons we selected this company for our Christmas hampers was their ability to supply custom-printed boxes.

choice and then said a failed delivery. The hamper is now sat at a Post Office and will be picked up 2 days from when I required the delivery. Shame it was for a 30th birthday. I emailed the business, as I wanted a refund on the premium delivery that did not take place. They said 'no', they have terms and conditions, so even if you pay for a premium delivery, they can't guarantee the delivery, and they will not offer a refund. You only know how good a business is when they provide the service the customer pays for. In this case, I hope my review helps you question can I trust this business? I had many e ails between myself and Gourmet Basket, and they were happier for me to do this review than correct a customer's expectation to deliver on what I paid for. I think that was more than a $16,95 mistake. Please check other businesses that can provide a better service. I think I wish what I had done is check the reviews that people had left about Gourmet Basket as there are many reviews like mine and only a 3.7-star rating in this line of business is pretty bad. I will check next time.

BAD SERVICE – We HAD a bad experience! We never receive an apology or refund for the mistakes, the products ok the services were so bad, we paid for gift cards our clients never received and never received money back or calls. WE NOT RECOMMEND

Irresponsible service. Cannot follow simple and clear instructions. Mediocre items for really expensive prices – Ordered two Cheese and Shiraz hampers to be delivered. As these hampers contain perishable items such as cheese, I have left clear instructions to call the receiver before they deliver, either to make sure either they deliver on a day they are available, or to take cautions to keep the package in a fridge until they receive it. never received a call.! The packages have been left in the concierge for 4 days before being delivered to the recipients.

When called the company to ask why weren't the recipients receive a call, they merely said, it was on the hands of Aust post.!

The purpose of using such a company like Gourmet Basket is to deliver these items to the recipients with a responsibility and for the quality of service - rather than we doing it ourselves through Aus post.

Gourmet Basket has failed in the very purpose of using such a company to deliver items to someone.!

Utter irresponsibility and poor service, not to mention the high expenses you pay for just mediocre items.!

Don't order from this company - did not deliver on time and would not take responsibility – I specifically called this company to check they could deliver to my mother-in-law's address and were able to deliver on time. They told me they could, but I would need to order right then on the phone. suspect the order had not even been processed yet they took my money as soon as I ordered. The hamper was delivered 4 days after her birthday. If they cannot deliver on the preferred date they should say so. I would have cancelled my order. Finally, they have said they will refund the delivery fee which is minimal. They have the audacity to send emails thanking me for my business and including the statement “ Shop today and schedule your delivery for the day of your choice” .This company is very unreliable and I would not recommend it to anyone. There are better choices out there.

were very “ordinary” with a somewhat cheap $16.00 bottle of red wine, one packet of biscuits was dreadful and we threw them out. The other items were all edible but far from being luxury products, most could be bought at the supermarkets very cheaply.

I calculated the whole lot was worth about $80-90.00 at full retail prices but having said that, it was kind of OK but the contents were very overpriced I felt.

Track Star couriers failure to deliver is in most customer reviews, Gourmet Baskets should address this reputation destroying issue right here and now!

Nothing Gourmet about them except cost – Whisky Lovers Deluxe Hamper You would think that a hamper with this title would include the whisky wouldn't you? IT DOESN'T Even if you want to add a bottle of whisky to the hamper not only is there very little choice but what they do offer is extremely expensive Only thing Gourmet about them is their name and their prices

delivery company to try a second time. They said they left it at the post office and contacted my friend but it has now been returned as it wasn’t picked up. Weeks later the hamper still hasn’t been delivered. So very disappointed with the service. Will never use this company again.

The only thing Gourmet is the price – Ordered a sympathy basket for an elderly neighbour who lives in a house where it can be left by Courier. Not only was it not attempted to be left, the parcel was left at the Post Office and a note saying she would have to collect it was delivered. Natasha in customer service didn’t care and just blamed Australia Post, even though it was supposed to be delivered by Star Track (which is all over the website). use,) but on looking at the progress of the present, or should i say lack of progress, it states it was dispatched to them the night before supposed delivery Why wasn't it dispatched in time to the delivery people as they know they are slow, and why ask for a delivery date if they know it is unlikely to arrive on that date. NB I cannot comment on quality of gift, still not arrived. To their credit the company has refunded my shipping costs, which was a gesture of goodwill, so thank you but I would have appreciated the gift to arrive on time.

basically said 'not their problem' and point you at their disclaimers around delays with couriers due to COVID. If that's the case, why take my money and give me 14 Feb as a delivery date. Last time I order via them.

Terrible customer service – Delivered an order a month before preferred delivery date and tried to shift blame to me when the order confirmation clearly stated the date. No ownership of error and a dismal offer of a voucher as compensation. Not surprised they are affiliated with Hampers with Bite as the customer service from both business has been deplorable. reassurances (I phoned in my order), it was not despatched until the day before required delivery. At this point (4 days later) it still has not arrived. The company has fobbed me off with automated responses. They cannot seem to modify their processes to accommodate expected delays, no matter how much advance warning they have. Don't bother with them.
