From my arrival at Emergency until I was released, I cannot fault my care. I was terribly uncomfortable when I arrived at Emergency and the reception staff were wonderful, Paperwork was completed quickly and all fees and Medicare Rebates were fully explained. Danni my check in Nurse was very caring, Cassandra my ward nurse was lovely and my Doctor Harriett could not be faulted. I understand that being in the Private system I was paying for the service, but the service I received until I was discharged was efficient and totally caring. I could not fault my care and in general terms I am not often sick so I really appreciated the experience.

A very very disappointing experience – My wife was admitted for day surgery on 21st January 25..There was a line up of approx 30 people, many unwell and unstable. She described it as a cattle call with appalling patient service.Once admitted theatre staff and her doctor and anaesthetist were excellent..After theatre she was taken to a very small basic room. Her nurse was excellent...friendly and efficient...but after being missed for afternoon tea she had to ask for a cuppa and was missed again for dinner. Her nurse was able to find a very poor unappetising meal..Breakfast was equally unappetising......She expected better and will let HCF know.

Can't believe the terrible service at this hospital – My father is in greenslopes hospital evertime we have asked any questions the answer is I don't know. This is his 4th day he hasn't had a neuro review, speech review, physio review. If I hadn't rang a different hospital to find out why he can't stay awake and why he's the way he is we would have no idea as we have been told nothing and nothing has been done for him worst hospital ever. Nurses should know about their patients one question I asked was is he on medication that would make him this tired she said I don't know, shouldn't his nurse know if he's on any medication.
