Nice TV for a nice price – I bought this TV on sale really cheap - under $250. And I can't complain. Image is fine, fairly smooth. TV is really light just a few kilos. Sound is not too good but passable. Onscreen menu is quick to response and easy to navigate. Has USB port that supports both thumb drives and HDDs. Understands most video formats and runs videos fine. PS: Now I've had this TV for two years and it's still working fine.  Show details

Cheap and big – We got this TV for below $250, and are happy with it for the price we paid. We don't watch TV very much, so we didn't need something amazing. It looks good, doesn't handle dark scenes very well (the dark, dark colors go a bit weird). Works well with our Switch, Apple TV. We have never bothered using the TVs own speakers - always run through external ones. Good TV on a budget.  Show details

Cheap and good quality picture – I was looking for a cheap and good TV at that time and found this on Ozbargain. At the price $238, it is actually a good deal. I connect it to a Raspberry PI with Kodi loaded and it became a smartTV. My daughter can watch YouTube and movie from some website that I wrote a small mobile app to cast it to Kodi.  Show details

Great value for money – Bought this on a Ebay special for a great price. I was expecting it to be average but was pleasantly surprised. My rating of the item is based on the price paid with was below $250. Picture and sound is pretty good for day to day use. Does have inputs for HDMI (3), USB etc which i have not used. Has a EPG. Remote is easy to use. Really light so fitted onto a wall bracket previously holding a 32" tv which was twice the weight of this one.  Show details

Great value and performance – Brilliant picture. Useless speakers but with my verbatim speakers plugged into the headphone outlet I've got great sound. Laptop plugs into HDMI so that's great. I haven't quite worked out the USB yet, it doesn't seem to handle many formats including MP4. I upgraded because my old set couldn't tune into to the new channel 20 which had been… Read more

available in Brisbane for 2 or 3 weeks. There is no channel 20 said the alleged TV salesperson. When I enlightened him he said I don't watch ABC, I rest my case. I'd done all my research on line but a bit of technical advice would have been nice.

Quite simple - the best TV out of the box I have ever owned... PERIOD – This TV is a Good Guys "home brand" for want of a better term.... Bit like Soniq is for JB Hi-Fi... The GVA G42TV16 42" (or 106cm) Full HD LED LCD TV is simply brilliant. Even out of the box and using out of the box standard settings, I noticed the following:- 1) Great, bright picture quality and viewing angles and even the sound was good! 2)… Read more

It will tune in the newest MP4-format-based HD channels, even though the Good Guys Sales person said "only a Sony do that".......

3) I had a flash drive with .AVI, .MPG and . MKV files of varying quality (some 1080p) and all played back excellently and even auto-zoomed to full screen (no black bars) by simply selecting 'AUTO' as the screen format which I SO, SO LOVE that it is simply amazing.

4) I was able to purchase this with a 20% PayPal discount for a stunning $238.....

I cannot rate this tv highly enough. Better than my 40" Sony I purchased for $540 a few months back which is 'dark' by comparison and also has a screen smudge that I cannot remove....
