Great product!!! – Three tools, maybe ten minutes… metal screws into plastic so use a hand screwdriver. Like doing a tyre up alternate screws one left one right one up one down etc to keep alignment, do up soft at first and once all screws in tighten to just firm as it’s plastic… Basic job and absolutely wrapped with it… my cat and dog love it..

I should have read these reviews first ! – bought today...very poor design.....impossible to align all 12 screws between the two frames and the tunnel...in the end threw away the tunnel and aligned all by sight ......it works for the dog for now but for how long .... left with gaping spaces where the tunnel should be ...will try duct tape to cover over those spaces but rainy weather will… Read more

grinder to cut out the steel security mesh. I used double sided tape to hold door in position while I put the screws in. Magnets are too strong and would suggest company makes it easier to remove them. I’m 68 year old nanna and I could install it. Patience is required but it’s worth the effort . It beats having to get up and open the door 30 times a day .
Product with no thought – Installed door before looking at the plastic flap in detail. Dog was fine going out but won’t use it coming in as the flap is not flat and has a moulding edge which grazed all the way down his back. Will have nothing to do with it now.
Difficult to install – Takes a long time to install and don’t try to install it by yourself. Someone else will need to help on the other side of the door for best results. The instructions are very light on detail which is frustrating. The screws are metal but everything else is plastic. I’m sure a door company could install a sturdier pet door with a minimum of fuss. be drilled to allow you to stretch the frame to line up and finally drill in the frame with metal screws! Also, don't bother with the 'cut to plastic' side inserts, they are a waste of time! Once installed its fine.. however a job that should take 30-40 mins takes 2 hours.. ugh

Its so so – I found it easy enough to install and it functions as stated but... Our dog had no issues barging her way through it no problems at all but... shes a staffy who is like a bull in a fine china shop... but the poor old cats could barely budge it off its magnetic locks, the magnets are way to strong for cats to push through in the end to avoid a… Read more
change over and reinstall i just had to cut and drill the magnets out so now the door looks a little worse for wear but it now functions good for the cats.
A lot of the issues in these reviews could be fixed with a simple redesign that allows the installer to add or remove one or both of the magnets.
Don’t buy this door – We bought a medium doggy door omg the noise don’t do it to yourself it will drive you crazy you can hear it from the other end of house I can’t stand this door can’t wait to replace it we had the small one which wasn’t so noisy otherwise they are a good door
