true with this brand - I would stay well clear of buying any Hisense TV as they are cheaply made pieces of junk. At home I have a Panasonic TV and that has been going for 10 years without a single fault!

impressed – Had the unit for 6 mths now. Very happy with it. Unbeatable value. Bought for elderly mother. So impressed I bout the 40" version for myself. Loving that too. Straight forward operation. Good picture,sound and features. Particularly ease of operation and sound. Many flat screens sound woefull. Cant speak for other hisense equipment but these 2 and a 42" led I helped a friend buy 6yrs ago are great. Would buy again

Observation - Make up your own mind – We purchased a new Hi-Sense 32D33 Tv to replace an old CRT Television and set-top box . The manual was easy to read and we eventually found out how to turn it on. The two power switches are a catch, as one is well hidden. The remote was easy to use.

The sound was good and we were impressed with the unit.

For the low price it appeared to be a very good purchase with a 3 year warranty. However the unit ceased to function on the second day of use. The screen went black and only the sound could be heard. Contact with the premium service at Hi Sense wasn't 24 hour as suggested but we were able to talk with a person. They were unable to suggest what may be wrong and recommended it be returned to the place of purchase - being only 1 day old. The unit was returned and replaced with a Samsung 32 inch Tv which appears to be a much better unit.
