Purchased a Hisense 32D33 about 3 years ago was only used a couple of times and then wasn’t used for a very long time as it’s in my spare bedroom. Now it turns on but has no picture or sound with just the hisense logo. What does this mean?

You have probably replaced the batteries in the remote and tried all the buttons on the remote and the buttons under the front panel with no success. After that there is very little you can do as a user. Once these stop functioning as they should it needs to go to a qualified technician for advice. However, repairs are often worth more than a new purchase.

I wish to connect a set of external PC speakers to my TV. There is no AV out jacks at the back. The only sound output jacks are a coaxial jack and audio out headphone jack. Is it safe to connect the speakers to the Audio out headphone jack?

Unfortunately my Hisense Tv only lasted one day but in past I have used headphone jacks to send audio to audio amps and speakers. The impedance had to be matched and it worked ok. However just a straight plug in connection to the headphone jack may not prove satisfactory.

Should be fine as long as you have the right cable. Coax is better but many devices don't have that connectivity. I use optic on my 42" hisense going out to logitech z680 surround system. Works a treat. Sorry don't recall if the d33 has optic output. Hope this helps
