High pitched noise – Do not buy this fridge if you are sensitive to high pitched noise. We have it in our lounge room and can hear it at night from the bedroom. Best way to describe it is like a smoke alarm going off across the road. Or tinnitus. While cheap and doing all it is meant to do, we are in the process of replacing it with something quieter. Show details

Quiet and efficient wine fridge – I've been using the wine fridge for just over a month now and am very happy with it. The build quality is great and it is very stylish. It feels as premium as the more expensive brands. Storage The space allows us to fit up to 29 bottles but this is understandable as not every bottle is the same size. Operation The temperature control you set… Read more

is pretty spot on. I set it to 11 degrees and the top shelf would be at 12 degrees and 14 at the bottom shelf. A major plus is how quiet it is as sometimes I have to check that its still running.

No after sales service and no parts – The glass door was broken on arrival and Hisense could not be contacted. Then when it denied liability it quoted a replacement door costing as much as the product. The warranty is meaningless as it won’t be honoured. Best not to buy this product or any other from Hisense. Show details

High Pitched Noise – Pros - Black glass door, nice styling - Wooden shelves - Good Price - Handless design - minimalist styling (you need room to get hand in behind the front of the door to reach the groove to open the door, may be an issue for built in to cabinetry) Cons - High pitched noise when cooling (which it does a lot) actually hurts my ears...I cant work… Read more

near it. - Seems to run hot, cupboards and benchtop around it are warm to touch - no rear feet to level - Gets condensation on the outside of the door which drips onto my floors - seems to be degrading at the rear mechanics - not sure if its an issue

If its not in a quiet environment good value wine fridge

Hisense wine fridge - bargain but noisy – Purchased this on sale for $399, it looks good and has 3 yr warranty. I’ve had it for a month and recently the weather has started warming up so the fridge is always running and it makes a really noticeable high pitched noise, I placed it in the lounge room and it freaks out my dog when it’s running. The noise sounds like a fire alarm or ambulance… Read more

is going off somewhere in the neighborhood. I recommend putting it in a garage, away from bedrooms, and not in tv lounge areas if you can, but if you’re not sensitive to high pitch sounds then it’s a great bargain!!

My one lasted three years and five months – I bought the fridge because it matched my requirements. Also the unit looked good. Now the fun is over. The unit stopped doing it's job. So enjoy your fridge before it packs up. I contacted Hisense for a service, but did not get any reply. In any case the service most likely would be as high as buying a new fridge. Very disappointing. Never will buy this Chinese appliances Brand again. Show details

Good value for money – Wine fridges around the same price range usually comes with thermoelectric cooling system but this one is equipped with a compressor, which means ambient temperature will have little impact on it's operation. Many sellers don't even promote this feature, which is a bit of shame. Show details

Value for money – The Hisense wine cooler works well & looks good. We were able to fit more wine bottles in than expected. Great price. Makes unusual sounds but you get used to it. Show details

So quiet and aesthetically pleasing The new Hisense Bar/Wine Cooler – Purchased recently, this was recomended as the better purchase over the Haier/Vintec brands. Blending beautifully with blackwood buffet this 30 bottle Hisense Bar/Wine fridge is a real surprise. Quiet running with LED lighting, its capacity is much more than advertised. I love the brand as it has never let me down. A guarantee of a 3 year warranty shows the Hisense is standing buy it's product.
