  HL39K300PL

The price does not correspond to quality – I bought Hisense 39" K300 and Samsung 40" EH5000 TVs for my house. Thanks to seller, I've changed that Hisense to another Samsung by paying just extra 70$. These are disadvantages of Hisense (not in compare with Samsung, but in general): Sound: quality is poor (with "Music" preset only it is more or less convenient), low volume. Tuner: channel switches with long image delay, sound delay even longer.

Remote: material quality like in cheapest Chinese products, very big size.

Menu: poor, non welcome. If you just connect USB or HDMI and want to switch to it, from menu you'll see all available connections, and you never know was it USB1 or USB2, or if it was HDMI: HDMI1 or HDMI2, HDMI3 or HDMI4, you need to try all before you find active connection.

Image quality: at the first glance (in a shop) image as good as Samsung's. Testing at home: image proportions of movie are not observed when playing movie from USB. I connected computer over HDMI with Full HD resolution and I couldn't configure image brightness/sharpness and other parameters so that make letters and shapes readable and clear.

In short: add extra 50-80$ and buy Samsung I mentioned or a bit older Sony Bravia model and be sure, it is right choice. I don't know about other series but 300K is very bad.

Everything!

I bought the 50" and have found no trouble so far. My sounds a good quaility and the picture is perfect. To be fair I have not had it very long. So I hope I don't have the same problems as you.

Nig24, Maybe you have not read the manual and adjusted the setting incorrectly. I have the K300 for many months and it performed just as well as my other Panasonic 55". No complains from me.

Thanks all for your comments. *etwu*, yes, there were quite a lot setting available to play however modern devices should not expect advanced configurations for simple needs. Once again: you can't do anything with bad sound, unwelcome menu, USB connections, etc..
