I have a foxtel go issue. When displaying foxtel live channels eg discovery and all channels image comes up for app 2 seconds and then reverts to play back error PE4012. Is there a an upgrade to fix this. Foxtel go has no problems using an external chromecast google tv ? Thanks Colin

Hi Peta, you will need to buy a Bluetooth transmitter/ receiver (approx $15-20 of ebay)which will plug into the 3.5mm jack at at rear of the set. Make sure it is set to transmit, pair with your bluetooth device. Good luck.

I'm more than happy with this TV purchase. BUT as my (80 year old) hearing starts to falter, I am now experiencing some 'hearing/sound' issues. I am not a Bluetooth person, and I do not (currently) have a sound bar attached. Should I purchase a sound bar, and if 'yes', which do you recommend, please? Thanks.

Hi, this is not our main evening TV and not unhappy with sound, but have installed a Toshiba sound bar via Kmart which was around $170 I think. Seems to give better sound and I didn't want to spend a lot. The price of some sound bars freaks me out!

My TV seems to be stuck in a loop. I have power and can see the start up screen but it won’t move on. Have tried shutting down, and followed some other suggestions such as holding down the input button on the remote but still stuck in a loop. Tv worked fine yesterday but when switched on this morning it’s stuck in a start loop. Any suggestions would be most welcome, thankyou.

Thankyou Simon yes have tried this no success. Jasmine I did try to call support however the message came through that staff were working from home due to COVID and there was a change in hours and a message would be sent. Unfortunately today is Monday and I work so I cannot be in front of my TV when someone calls. I will try again late this afternoon. Thankyou both I appreciate the response. Stay well.

Is the tv compatible with NBN wifi connection. I can’t connect to my new NBN wifi modem.

Should not be a problem. I have NBN and through settings on TV was easy. On TV settings should be able to find nearby internet connection availability (your router) and select and put in Modem/Router pass code. Presume your wifi router is within suitable range.

Thanks Simon. Location of router is close and have been able to connect to Hotspot but cannot connect to wifi. Other devices are OK

John, I see on mine that under 'Network Settings' , the 'Wake on Wireless Network' box is ON, and 'Wake on LAN' box is also ON. At the top of that screen 'Network Configuration' - Connected. Good luck.

Hi John , this should not be an issue at all, If you give our friendly technical support team a call on 1800 447 367, they will be able to address your enquiry and assist in getting it all up and running . As its a new modem the TV may just need a full factory reset.

It doesn't connect to wireless 5, only works on 2.4 Phones work on 5 Ps4 is 2.4 So check your router settings for the 2.4 user name or and you will locate them in the tv when you search

I am having Foxtel iq4 installed next week and have bought the Hisense 40R but am now concerned that it may not be compatible with the iq4? It is my bedroom tv so dont need to access the 4K channels which is why I didnt go for a 4K tv.

Has anyone had the plastic frame around their tv come apart? It’s never been moved so it’s not from us, looks like it’s been hot and expanded? They won’t cover under warranty as they claim it’s damage from us

The volume adjustment seems to make no difference until it reaches full and then it is only slight, but after a minute or two it will go to flat out blaring . Very annoying at night!
