Hoverfly Electric Scooter – DO NOT TRUST THIS SUPPLIER. I purchased 2 Hoverfly electric scooters for my grandchildren in November 2023. These were to be Xmas presents and when I came to assemble them I discovered one did not include a charger. I sent 4 emails both through eBay and their supplied email address. The manual supplied the email address with the message to contact if any problems. Despite the messages sent I received no reply until December 20. This email apologised and stated they would check the warehouse for a replacement and to forward the order number. I had already supplied this together with an image of the purchase. However I replied again with those details. I received no further communication so I again emailed them on January 9. I have neither received a replacement nor any correspondence. Of course now I have no other option but to just post this review and hope no one suffers a similar situation of a very disappointed child with a scooter that can't be charged.

Do NOT buy this! – Bought a hover fly recently on Amazon. Could not unlatch the latch to save my life. Fender cracked, rear light popped off, but latch would NOT unlatch. Unit is advertised as 33+ pounds, it weighs easily twice that. Returning it in less than 24 hours. Never again.

AWESOME Daily commute, great for women riders too! – I bloody love this e-scooter! I researched for so long I ended up going around in circles. I took a leap and purchased this scooter. its approx 14kg. two levels of speed, easy to fold and carry. easy to charge. and what a terrific price at $849. Comfy to ride with great tires and suspension. I love my Hoverfly :)

G4 Hoverfly E-Scooter - awesome daily commuter – i used to ride a road bike to the office but had to recently sell it off. i have a bad knee and ankle and i've had my eye on an electric scooter for quite some time. i was juggling between brands/models as there are so many to choose from. i settled for the g4 hoverfly which is also known as gotrax. after a week of use i can definitely say that this is a very nice e-scooter. the scooter has a max distance of 40km and has no problems going up inclines and such. the 10 inch wheels easily go through road bumps, rumble strips, humps and the like. the front light is very bright and the rear is very noticeable. it has a 2 gear design- gear1 can go up to 25km/h while gear2 up to 32km/h. the scooter is foldable and has a built-in anti-theft steel cable that can be locked via combination. the led console is bright and crisp, turning on the unit starts with the second anti-theft which is the onboard combination which needs to be unlocked. overall, a fantastic daily commuter!
