Hozelock Garden Pressure Sprayer 5L

Pressure sprayer – I purchased one of these about 4 months ago and it worked very well. Recently the tap would not work to turn off the sprayer. I tried to fix it with no success. In desperation i bought another one and guess what, on delivering the second load of spray the tap would not work. So i now have two pressure sprayers which will not turn off unless you release the pressure. This is just great!

Leaks, poor pressure, poor spread – For 4221 5L model. I bought one of these to replace a few cheap ones I have used over the years. shed floor. Only used three times before I returned it for a full refund. The design of the seals is terrible, in that there are none. The physical seal relies on the expansion spigot on the fitting pushed into the hose and it does not seal properly. When I did try to use it the pressure seemed to build OK but only lasted a minute or so. The adjustment of the spray didn't seem to do much at all. All in all a very poor piece of equipment, poor design, cheaply made and does not do what it is supposed to at all. I have spent longer trying to fix it than use it, every joint leaks. Honestly, the cheapies are better.

Shame on you lowering the quality – This Spayer is very good but the quality has been brought down. The main pipe is now plastic and should have been left as a stainless steel. Why do it Show details

The best garden sprayer out there – These sprayers are the best quality sprayers on the market in my opinion. I run a gardening business so have tried every single brand there is. it connects at the bottom I have had leak issues on lots of occasions. Cleaning the filters is a bit of a pain when out on the job. Regardless, this is the best sprayer out there.

Powerful and quick to pressurise but assembly very protracted and convoluted process via Pictorial Instruction Manual – Upgraded in cost to this Sturdier Garden Pressure Sprayer then expected to spend a few minutes assembling the unit via the Pictorial Instruction manual. problems was that the threaded joining coupling over the pipe and the aluminium spray wand were respectively too narrow and too loose to connect the hose line to the spray gun and to the pressure container. Given I was off site, to prevent catastrophic chemical incidents, I had to drill out one threaded joining coupling to enable the hose line to pass through the enlarged threaded joining coupling to connect to the gun, then to use plumbers tape to secure the aluminium spray wand into the spray gun to it would no SLIP off.
