Problems with colors printing dark – Reading the specs this appeared to be the perfect color laser for smaller design studios. 95 OS, a Windows 10 OS, and even Mac OS. All have the same results. I have directly connected to the printer, and worked over the network. I have spoken with the distributor, a service tech and even paid for someone to come out and service it. They are all stumped. I went on HP forums and the answers are vague and they appear not to really care with the general tone of "Though this printer is expensive and was designed and sold and marketed to last... we could care less about supporting it because we have developed more expensive printers that we can sell you that might print just as bad." The service tech said that these printers are known for print issues. My prints are hit and miss. I spent roughly $550 for this printer, $100 for shipping, and another $300 for toner. I am pleased though that the Amazon seller has taken full responsibility and working with me on this issue. I understand its not the sellers problem but more of an issue of HP's printer design. This will be the last HP printer I buy. I am a designer and no longer have time to trouble shoot, repair and fix items that SHOULD work. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how to get this thing to print color consistently and accurately I would greatly appreciate it.

OK – It's a fast printer with minor end user-usability design faults but it does a good job with printing. The images are clear though appear somewhat saturated and flat, but give a clear indication of what a professional print run would look like. fast printer and perfect for creatign proofs befoe sending anything for professional printing. It is extremely annoying for those who are strapped for time and notice that the pages is almost out when it goes back in for double sided printing! This should be redesigned so that the paper does not come out until both sides are printed! I have a tendecny to grab pages hot off the press, but then I have to reprint it because I have jammed the entire machine due to my impatience.
