I bought an HP Deskjet printer and signed up for their Instank Ink programme, so that I would never run out of ink again. I severely misjudged my printing needs and in 14 months paid $130 to print 92 pages.at $8.99 per month, with only one delivery of cartridges over that time, I cancelled the subscription. HP still attempted to bill me for my monthly subscription. I cannot use the only 2 cartridges they delivered me as they are only usable if you're under subscription. I tried to contact support for HP today for 2 HOURS!! They are so not interested in their customers. Absolutely disgusting customer support
Follow-up · I tried to get some help on this, but was just ignored. I now have a perfectly maintained printer, that won't print because I cancelled by Instant Ink programme!
Won't work on Mac – Battled for 4 hours to try to get this to work on MacBook Pro 13" without success.
Purchased in at Officeworks for $43.
Worked once. Now just prints blank pages – The printer worked fine a couple of times. Then it just started printing blank pages. New cartridges, cleaned cartridges, reset software - nothing fixes the problem. HP troubleshooting recommends getting it serviced which is absurd considering the price of the printer and how new it is. Not worth the time. Will just throw it away. Don't waste your time or money buying this printer. Will just cause you frustration.
