Rubbish printer and rubbish service – I wouldn't recommend these printers to my worst enemy. It has constant issues either with the connection to the Wifi or in terms of accurately estimating the ink levels. Currently mine shows a full colour cartridge and a 25% full black one but only prints a faint yellow and no other colours. The Direct Ink service is an absolute travesty. The… Read more

concept is that you pay a fixed amount per month for a pre-agreed number of pages. E.g. you pay £4.99/month for a 100 pages printed. Whether you print them or not. If you don't print you can carry over the pages up to 3 times the agreed number. But not more. Even if you don't print for a year you still have to pay monthly and you carry over only 300 pages. And if you switch you page numbers down e.g. you decide 100 is too much for you and want to switch to 50 pages let's say, you loose even those 300 carried over pages even if you paid a year's monthly value for them. As it happens I had a 300 page level for about a year and 1/2 accumulating the 900 pages. I decided that it doesn't make sense to keep paying so I switched to a lower level but that meant that all those months of payment were completely lost.

So my advice, don't buy the printer and even if you do don't buy into direct ink as it is not worth it.

Don't buy waste of money!! get better for a little more money – Looks good but doesn't do what its supposed to do, constant problems from the get go! print one thing then the printer goes offline always have to reconnect to the pc, always prints random information about the printer. also wheh putting in a new ink cartridge the thing doesn't recognise it and takes for ever to start printing again and then once prints its prints half the page i wanted! stay clear don't waste your money!

Rubish – Worst printer ever with very expensive ink cartridges to replace/refil. Nozle always clogged, very small amount of ink into the cartridge. Show details

Don't even bother – It hardly ever works properly, always freaks out mid print, goes through ink like it's nobody's business. It's not even worth the low price I spent on this think. Seriously, don't get this printer, go literally anywhere else. Show details

Complete trash – I just yeeted my 2600 series out into the street. It is a complete waste of money and after maybe the first handful of months owning it, it stopped printing and connecting to my computer. I stopped wasting my time trying to get it to work and tossed the stupid thing out into the road. Probably the best part of the 90 bucks or so spent was hearing… Read more

Perhaps the worst. printer. ever – Purchased this printer brand-new, got 1 day use (about 50 copies) when the ink ran out. Ink far more expensive than the printer. Never imagined printers could be this bad. It almost never registers paper when the stack is in the appropriate place. I'm now ready to give it away to someone else rather than spend the money for ink. I purchased a Canon MF 743 instead. Cost more, but Dramatically better. Don't waste your money on this.  Show details

The worst printer I’ve ever used – The fact that this printer doesn’t have a USB port at all is one of the most asinine decisions I have ever seen. The wifi connection and wifi direct feature are garbage to be polite. This printer doesn’t understand what reliable means and it’s taken years off my life working with such a failure of technology. I pray the next person that has this in their shopping cart values their time and puts this back on the shelf.

Takes Printing To A New Level – I won't be buying HP again. I realise that "you get what you pay for" but that should apply to longevity not to straight out of the box when it comes to established brands. 1. Wifi connection works erratically. 2. Sometimes the USB connection works. 3. Paper frequently jams. Show details

HP Deskjet 2600 series Very disappointing – Having been a user of HP technology since 1970's I'm very disappointed with the performance and technical stance of this simple Deskjet printer. Maybe 12 sheets of paper printed and the very expensive Cartridge (65) ceased working and no attempt at priming or cleaning via utility was available to re-invigorate. I purchased a new cartridge and… Read more

measured 3gms weight of ink in it. No wonder these printers are so damned cheap when the consummables are so damned expensive. Once apon a time HP stood for quality, looking at their management team and the errors made over the last decade it's easy to see why they're failing.
