Good, inexpensive printer – This is a great little printer and scanner that was quite inexpensive. The quality of the printing was good. Cartridges are a bit expensive to replace, but for a bit extra you can get XL cartridges that have more than twice the ink. I paid $80 for an XL black and an XL colour cartridge but they lasted for a long time. Inexpensive, good quality printing, wireless capacity. Cartridges could be cheaper.
Cheap printer – I've had this printer for a few weeks so far and it prints to a reasonable standard and I can't complain about it since it was purchased for less than fifty dollars. Have so far done mostly black and white printing however have printed dozens of pages and they come up to a consistent quality. The colour cartridge is all three colours so if one runs out a whole new colour cartridge is required. The cost of replacement cartridges would be about as much as the printer itself. There is a document scanner as well that works well and even does documents into PDF format. Cheap Expensive inks.
Fine, pretty cheap, comes with 1/2 ink btw! – The reason the ink costs more than the printer is due to the ink being better than the one included, the one included is a "starter" one which is basically half of the normal dose Reliable, value for money, great scanner, does game prints and quick forms etc via physical interface 1/2 ink thing is a bit annoying because ink is very expensive
Cheap Colour printer for school projects – I bought this printer as a second printer for school projects. Most of our printing is done on a Mono laser so I just needed something to print out colour when it is needed. This printer was $48 at office works, but I did see it advertised for $45 at Big W after I bought it. I have not had to buy inks yet but I might just try and go for refills. Only has 12 months warranty so it really is a disposable printer. Easy to set up, has wifi network printing and scaning, Print quality is satisfactory for my needs. Does not print to the end of the page, in MS word if you put page numbers at the bottom of the page they will not print out.
Excellent – I am surprised how good this multifunction is for the price ($48). It was really easy to set up and compared to our old printer is faster, quieter and has better quality printing. Maybe not the best choice if you're printing a lot of photos because there is only one colour cartridge, not separate colours and it's not photo-quality printing (although not bad). But for everyday use at home it's great. Cheap, compact size, has a flatbed scanner, looks good, very easy to set up, decent print quality, wireless printing and scanning, easy copying, comes with ink cartridges. The ink costs more than the printer!
