Expected a lot more from HP – Good side: Easy to set up and wireless printing works well. Good IOS iphone app that lets you print from mobile. Bad: Goes through ink very quickly. Constantly having to buy new cartridges. Doesn't recognise cancelling of print jobs. I will hit cancel on printer and a few mins later it tries to print it again. Turn printer off and when turned back… Read more
on it tries to print again...... and again even weeks later. Paper alignment doesn't work well - even at max left alignment it doesn't print not in centre of page when print A4.
Torture absolute Torture – This is my second HP 3632 after replacing the first one that failed, i print once every blue moon and each time is a complete nightmare, it takes on average 3 days to print 1 document owing to an endless circle of trouble shooting and the discovering the ink has dried up and then a trip to by new ink that cost a whole lot more then the printer… Read more
itself! Definitely worth buying as a gift for your worst enemy but apart from that not worth it at all. Mine has now been thrown in the garbage bin where it belongs
Junk printer – I would not have even given this a star but you have to give a star to write a review. This printer is not even worth wasting your time putting price sticker on!! It will not allow you to connect to it by means of wireless or the use of internet cable. You can’t use this printer without having to use the app on your phone, laptop or computer… Read more
and it will not connect to devices. While trying to connect you push the wireless or cable lights the dang thing proceeds to print instructions out which are useless. So now it’s wasting you ink and still won’t connect. Before you tell me it’s my phone no because my husbands phone won’t connect either!
Cartridge Costs More Than Printer – Its cheaper to keep buying a new printer than buy the cartridges. HP are a terrible company, they should be penalized for such a poor sustainability focus. Would love planet Ark to boycott them... Show details
Decent printer – I purchased this printer today from Big W, to print off some documents which were emailed to me as I need them for next week and haven't owned a printer in over 5 years. It was relatively easy to set up via my smart phone, with a few little bumps in the road, but otherwise satisfied with the quality of important documents in which I printed Show details
Burning piece of garbage – My advice? Smash it with a hammer and get an epson, instead. Will not print, will not connect, can't do basic tasks. It worked well for a hot minute, and no amount of troubleshooting will fix it. Show details
No complaints here – Paid $34.00 for the unit which is less than the price of the ink which came with it so the printer came free. Easy setup using the app. I have printed and scanned and all good. Show details
Love it – The printer is perfect, it’s not big and fits my small desk drawer, wireless so does not need to be connected by cables, mobile printing is perfect and a feature that I use a lot, overall I love it Show details
Great budget printer – I have had this print for about 2 years now with no issues whatsoever. Easy setup to the network or via usb cable. Printing from phones or tablet is a breeze via the app. very happy with photos that it produces. Does good scans. For a printer that cost me $28 from Office works I can't complain. I have done plenty of printing without problems.… Read more
might not be the most economical printer. but I have no hesitation in recommending it.
I have read plenty of reviews regarding this printer, and from what I can see the complaints are from people that might not have the knowledge to read the instructions.
Sent from Hell – I'm fairly sure this printer was sent from Hell and created by Demons to torture me endlessly. One thing I can tell you, it certainly can stand up to abuse. It makes me so angry I'm often hitting it, shoving it at the wall and verbally abusing it - still nothing makes it work more/less efficiently. It's an endless cycle of tedium and headache. DO NOT BUY THIS P.O.S. Show details
Not practical or functional – This is a basic model which prints fine but it's just a very impractical design and model. The scanning function is not simple. It can only be accessed by going into the PC system and opening software. Very dysfunctional and not at all practical. Just wastes time. Many printers have a button on the printer to scan - not on this machine. Of the 8… Read more
buttons, half of them are not useful for daily operations. I still have not been able to work out how to scan a document so all the pages are saved in the one document. It shouldn't be that hard.
When changing printing cartridges, it will print the test page for several days after...just wasting a lot of ink. It just won't stop
Based on this printer, I would not consider a HP printer again. Very poor design and functionality. I could not recommend this printer to anyone. I'm just hoping it will stop working so I can get something else soon.
JUNK PRINTER – This printer is useless, its designed to waste paper and toner on test sheets , cant get it to print so try again and again then ten minutes later its starts to print and don't stop. Complete JUNK buyer beware Show details
Worst printer ever – Worst printer ever. Never worked from day 1. Money wasted! Hp use to be awesome. I'm shocked. I assumed maybe it wasnt printing because maybe the ink cartridges were defective. Printer just doesnt print! Show details

Most pathetic printer I have ever used – Most pathetic printer I have ever used. Lot of errors. Lot of connectivity issues. Lot of missed pages. Pathetic settings. I am so fed up that, I wont even try any other HP brand after this crappy product I bought. Show details
Cheap for a reason – Inefficient cartridges cost more than the printer. They will also dry out after a couple of months if not used and will need to be replaced. The software used for scanning is slow and awkward. Horrible print quality overall. Wireless printing never works. I threw this in the bin after using it about 5 times. Absolute crap. Show details
unreliable and slow – The combination printer / scanner is too slow and too many error things interrupting work flow. Ink like all desk jets is expensive. Too much bloat ware from HP included that wants you to buy their ink online and updates are troublesome. Not recommended despite cheap purchase price from well known retailer. Show details
Horrible – the slowest, dumpy and un efficient printer ever .. all the functionalities works terrible, printing, and scanning, always are terrible experiences with this product. I buyed this thing in walmart... now I will look for the box and I will return it inmidiately. don't waste your time in this thing, just select other product even it is a promotion, dont do it. Don’t waste your money – Print quality is poor, the ink runs and the machine constantly says it’s offline when it’s plugged into a USB port and recognised by the computer and connected to WiFi. Don’t waste your money. Show details
Uses too much ink when it works but usually just doesn't work – Print quality is fine but the wifi connectivity issues are non-stop. It only holds about 12 pieces of paper, defeating the point of wireless since we have to check it's loaded every time we want to print something. If it's not loaded and we try to print, it creates a communication 'error' which is a UI nightmare to fix and usually ends up… Read more
wasting pages and pages of duplicate copies (even if the print queue is empty).
The ink runs out after about the 12 page mark (which is frustrating when error diagnosis pages, test prints and duplicates happens quite unpredictably, and often).
When it works it works well but we find it often not working. I am glad that others have had better experience, I wish I could say the same. It would be fine if you had enough time and money to refill the paper and ink after almost every print session but otherwise I'd say invest in more economic long-term printing solution.
Perfect little printer – I bought this device for scanning and occasional color printing. I'm quite satisfied so far. Very easy to setup. It connected to my router using WPS without any problem. After that I only needed to install drivers and was able to do both scanning and printing over WiFi. It's a cloud-ready device and setting up cloud printing was also quite… Read more
easy.
Scanning quality is good enough although it's rather slow in high resolution.
I like how it prints photos, colors are quite natural. For day to day printing I, however, prefer a laser device.
I've got the printer from Officeworks, it was a clearance and the price was really cheap ($35.78).
Easy, gets it done, hasn't failed! – I am quite satisfied with this printer. I always find printers are very "disposable" and pretty much always have been if you're buying the low end printers - as it's always cheaper to buy a whole printer rather than replace individual inks! :O This HP has not failed me yet though and the inks it takes seems to be of great capacity, and quality.… Read more
It always prints in alignment (Had issues with canons not printing straight or the page getting jammed/twisted). Haven't any issues with the paper feeder even with lots of pages in it. It wirelessly connects superbly, pretty easy to set up to the computer and the phone! I'm always printing things off my mobile HP app which is really useful when you are on the run. It has a lovely look/design and the flatbed scanner is also very easy to use. It is not the highest resolution scanner but it gets the job done (wouldn't suggest this one for "Fine scans" for art although I do use it for my own at times). The replacement black inks are around $25-30 each which is not really cheap in my books that said the ink does last quite a while in comparison to some of previous printers with "cheaper inks" where I felt like I was ALWAYS buying more even when I hadn't really used the printer much lol.
This printer now goes for a measly $35 at Officeworks, so you're not going to lose on money. We have had the printer for at least a year or so now, and not looking to buy another... which is a good start!
Best home printer I have ever used – I have never had a printer that was so reliable. I've had it now for over a year and it never jams or disconnects itself from the computer. I just leave it running, print random documents every couple of months and it works first go, no worries. The ink is pretty expensive (like all ink these days) and doesn't last that long, but if like me, you… Read more
use your printer seldomly, it is really fine. I spend about $80 pa on ink and the cartridges are easy to swap over once you know how. Print quality is great but again, I only use for documents, not photos but have scanned in documents and it was simple and the quality was fine. I am not tech savvy but the set up was a breeze, just followed prompts. Have wanted to review this product for some time as I am just so happy with it and it is so hard to find a decent printer. So if you're not sure, this is the one for basic, everyday, reliable printing.

Cheap printer, easy to set up for printing, tricky for scanning, ink cartridges run out super fast – Bought this printer online from Officeoworks.com.au and got delivered on the same business day. $36 for a bargain! Easy to set up for printing. But horrible for scanning function, need to search the forums and install HP Scan etc. Finally got it sorted and happy with it. But the nightmare starts after a few days both ink cartridges ran out and the replacement cartridges are super expensive. Show details
YLK – Really disappointed as I have always bought Hp ...consistently does not print more than one page no matter how many times you ''FIX'" Just don't waste your time with this printer .It does not matter how many times to reset or what you do every time you try to print is a nightmare.. Not intending to use laptop.Pixel C easy setup via All In One app – Bought at Good Guys $35 included ink (though I did buy some $46) and USB cable. Easily prints and scans with Android tablet either on network or direct, used e- mail from Android phone to printer, all work very well, and print quality is good. It doesn't seem possible to get "print, copy, scan and web" for such a price, and this works seamlessly,… Read more
Bought Google Pixel C tablet 6 month ago to hopefully replace ageing laptop, since I have bought an accessory to connect USB and read memory cards, now with this printer I will never need to open my laptop again.
Pleasing to see others who have owned one for longer are still happy.
