The first one was dead on arrival. The second worked for a while, then didn't recognise its own cartridges. HP has gone to hell. Show details

I think this the the worst printer I've ever bought. I had an HP Envy about 12 years ago and it would print the most amazing colour photos, so when I wanted a colour printer, I got this. Big mistake! I won't buy anything made by HP again. I had to buy genuine HP ink cartridges, which are not cheap. The colour cartridge lasted about 50 pages but… Read more

not one of those pages was any good. The colour was all over the place. I've been setting up my own printers for about 40 years. I don't think I missed any steps or made any mistakes - except buying this. As a copier it is very poor quality and unbelievably slow - it copied a b&w page and it came out pink. It's about that good as a scanner too. Honestly, there's nothing good about it. I should have returned it. If I'd bought it from a good online seller, it would have gone back. But it's a long drive to the shop where I bought it. I'll go and look online for a replacement now.

Absolute piece of junk. Will not print even when connected. Tried HPs own software wifi direct and still nothing. Ever since we bought this it has been way too much trouble. Stay away. Show details

My partner had finally decided on a printer for her small office and thought this would do the job, simple ink cartridges, one colour one black, Wifi connection printing, scanning and at a good price (we know why now). Started setting it up and immediately hit the wall with the ink cartridges not 'communicating' with the printer. Trying a few… Read more

troubleshooting ideas found online and on the HP website, we realised this was a consistent problem with this brand. Having been involved with both business and domestic printer set ups, most pretty straight forward with online connection etc. I'd stay away from this brand. I saw a review saying stay away from any HP printers with an 'e' in the title, and then found many negative reviews for many HP printers. We should have looked first. Packed up now and ready to return.
