HP LaserJet Pro M404dw

Solid, neat, reliable, good value printer – My old HP LaserJet 2420 made in 2005 was printing faint on the left hand side. I searched out solutions & found the cause was probably dust on the main mirror. It was possible to clean it but there was a lot of dismantling involved. I figured I had my money's worth from it so I decided on a new printer. I wanted an office class printer but not one made for many thousands of prints. After a lot of research I found the best value was the HP Laser Jet Pro M404dw. By buying it direct from HP there was a 10% discount with free delivery. It comes fitted with a 3000 page toner supply. It cost $386.10. Setting up was easy for my three Win10 computers but a bit more complicated with my Win7 computer. The Win7 required the printer to be connected wirelessly to my router. The printer prints double sided & envelopes. The printer can be left on in sleep mode & it uses half a watt when asleep. When I need colour printing, I go to my nearby OfficeWorks.
