does the job well – most reliable printer i have owned, doesn't get jammed with good quality paper. ink is not that cheap to buy but seem to last. the print quality is great allowing you to vary the quality, i use fast print on black and white to save on ink. great printer. :)

Cheap to buy, but very expensive to replace cartridges – We bought this printer on sale at Kmart for about $80 - it works well, prints reasonably quickly and the print quality is pretty good. The scan function is quick and can save to a variety of file types. It is a bit noisier than other printers I have used from this price range though and the ink cartridges are quite expensive... roughly $40 for the colour cartridge and $30 for the black - almost works out cheaper just to buy a whole new printer each time. Once this one dies, we will probably go with a different brand purely because of the cost of the replacement cartridges. Prints quickly Noisy, expensive to run
