This is actually a really good printer, and prints well, but I have two really large issues with it that is the reason for the 1 star. Firstly, HP have blocked the use of any non HP cartridge's, which effectively doubles the cost of printing due to the high cost of their cartridge's. I have other printers that do not do this and so are cheaper to run. Secondly, the HP app is terrible. Keeps losing contact with the printer and says it is off line, even though the computer can see it fine. Have to restart the computer, printer, and router. This happens almost every time I go to print, so effectively it takes 10mins to print anything. The scanner is even worse, so even when it can print it will not scan due to it being "unavailable". Again restarting it usually fixes it. My advise, get another brand.

Do not buy! – We thought this printer would be excellent. The ink ran out in two weeks. We are a small business and this is ridiculous. Our Epson ink lasted for months. Will never buy another HP product again.

Purchased in for $399.

HP PRINTER IS JUNK – I purchased this HP Officejet 7400 in May of 2018. I used it for 1 month to work at home. Paid a lot of money for this printer as I needed a dual size paper copier. It worked really good for one month. Went back to work and when tried to use it again July 2019 print comes out blank when trying to print or make a copy. Ink levels where still really good but thought maybe they needed to be changed. Replaced cartridge. Still comes out blank. Went through virtual agent online. Never got back with me. Called support and they said I was out of warranty by 64 days. Tried cleaning ink and printer head but still nothing. Unable to provide any other support except they tried to sell me a new printer. I am very unhappy with HP and when I can afford a new printer will try another brand. NO more HP printers for me.

Purchased in for $349.
