Unreliable, poor print quality – Have had numerous reliability problems with printer since new including streaky lines on printing and failure to print pages, duplexer jamming and intermittent failure of computer to recognise printer. HP support has tried to be helpful and the printhead has been replaced twice, but the problems continue. In the end I gave up and bought another brand of multifunction printer.

brilliant – I have owned this printer for a couple of years and use it reglarly for home office and printing work for school lessons. I am a teacher. I have printed perhaps more than ten thousand pages with no real problems. It scans to print, scans to USB, prints in colour. It does everything I need. If I was willing to pay more, which I am not, the only thing missing is an automatic stapler, but that is stretching it a lot.

I highly recommend this printer. top feed. Prints double sided. ink cost

Great printer, scanner combo but flawed ink system – Have had this close to a year now and it's a great printer/combo unit - the ADF scanner, and scan to email make it so easy to scan large documents, and the duplex printing is fantastic If it wasn't for the fact the this printer will refuse to print 'black ink only' print jobs when *ANY* ink cartridge is depleted, I would give it 5 stars - this is (IMO) a huge flaw with this machine - It really let me down with this one when I needed something printed ASAP (a text only document) and it simply refused to print as I had run out of yellow ink - nothing I could do could coax it to print with just black ink, despite the document only being black & white Good quality printing, scanner is supurb Will not print anything with one cartridge depleted.
