HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e All-in-One

Underwhelming – Purchased this printer to replace my old HP 7740, which performed flawlessly for several years, with only a couple of small issues. When I purchased the 7740 it came with Read Iris Pro software. The new printer relies on the HP Smart app, which is not nearly as good as the previous software. It's slower to start up, options are more limited, and not nearly as accurate when scanning.

Disappointed and no longer a loyal customer of HP. Will now take the time to compare various printers prior to purchasing my next one and not buy just because of prior good experience.

Terrible connectivity issues and scanner never works – When you can actually hook this thing up, it does a great job of printing. A very easy to understand user interface with colour touch screen, very configurable regarding resolution, quality settings, tray and paper settings. However connectivity is dreadful. Across multiple devices in our household (Mac or PC) it regularly drops out and does not recoginze either our devices or the router. We've actually never been able to get the thing to scan.....ever! Despite using HP Scan Assistant and the HP Scan App. No good.
