This is a brilliant printer – My printer must be like 10 years old maybe, the inks last a long time. I do alot of scrapbooking and card making and the ability to be able to print items in any percentage size I wish is such a bonus. My computor is about to give up on me and new computors wont accept the printer I am so not happy as it seems the percentage sizing aspect is not available any more, I wish some company would add this feature to their computors. Ink problems make it annoying – This printer while good will not work if you have just one ink cartridge that is not even out of ink but EXPIRED!!!! I tried to fax but it won't let me do that because my red ink is out if date---I don't need to print a fax receipt but bad luck. The ink is expensive & will not work once the date is reached even if it is full of ink :/ setting it up to scan to a computer has proved impossible for us too. Wish we didn't need these products
This was the best printer I have ever owned – After lasting over 10 years this was the best printer I had ever owned. Printing right up until a jam of the printer-head. HP no longer manufactures printers like this anymore. The 02 inks were able to last several pages and printed until there was no ink left. This could be proven in when I would shake the cartridges you could hear there was no… Read more
ink left. I miss this truly impressive printer. It is a shame HP no longer manufactures printers to this standard.
OK – Not a bad printer when working. I am disappointed with HP's customer service for out of warranty machines. It makes rethink getting another inkjet printer from HP. fast printing, 33 pages a minute. Nice colour when done properly. I like the option of direct printing from SD cards, USB etc. It is simple to use without needing to connect to a… Read more
computer. The operating programs comes with the printer is very large in size and is slow in a average PC. Colour inks run out quickly, well, like all other brands. I just find out recently that HP does not have a service centre if it breaks down after warranty. Many frustrating phone calls to HP but no solution.
Excellent – Fan-bloody-tastic! I print a lot of pictures on my HP Photosmart (which is the main reason why I got this one) just with generic inks and photo paper and the quality is excellent! I have used a few different printers capable of printing photos and none have compared to this one. The photocopying and faxing capabilities are an added bonus too! print quality, easy to use
Excellent – I have always owned HP printers, with the exception of one Epson. I prefer the HP printers and buy them each time. It is easy to set up, easy to load images to print and the print quality is fast and has great colour. I have had photos printed from years ago and the quality is still exceptional whereas other brand printers I have had, the photos… Read more · 1
have faded over time. The photocopy and fax features are a great addition. Excellant quality of colour prints. It prints very fast and is easy to load images directly from your card. I can't think of any cons to this printer. It performs every time.
OK – We've had this computer for a few years (about 4) and overall are very happy with it. It has performed with barely a hitch in all this time and has never needed a repair. It pretty much handles all our office needs and the quality is great for an office unit. My only gripe is that the replacement ink cartridges are expensive. Also, the colour inks… Read more
don't come in the same large size as the black ink. Sometimes I print out a colour piece in black and white so that I can make the colours last longer and use them only when really necessary. Consistent quality Cartridges are expensive
Excellent – After travelling through europe had an a load of pictures to print great idea is inserting the camera card straight into the printer. easy and comes out with same quality if you were to go to camera shop. Xcellent print out of pictures, easy to use
Excellent – Great machine would buy anything with HP on it.No dramas.Has printed over 7000 pages and photos in 3 years. great machine quick printing easily updated to vitsa through hp website.
Good – Nice looking unit and easy to use with good quality printing. I think it was value for money. I would buy it again. Good all in one unit, easy to use, some great features, gives an on screen display of ink levels. Good quality printing I cant get the fax to work with our phone system. It doesnt take larger than A4 paper.
Good – This is a great product. I can't recall having any problems with the Hp 3110. I can print my photos easily if I do not have time to run to the shops. This is a multifunction unit with everything. Replace individual ink colours as they run out and prints photos well. View photos on the small screen if not wanting to download to computer. Great… Read more
printing results. Self maintenance program. Fast printing for when you're in a rush. Once one colour has run out, you can only print in black and white (unless it is the black that is empty). It is large an bulky.
Excellent – Basically a good all round machine. I think it was value for money. Very simple to use and has a great help menu function, on Lcd screen of printer This unit is easy to use, with user friendly software to use in conjunction. The photo quality is very good. I am no technical genius so I need something easy to operate. This model fits the bill… Read more
and is well priced for all it's functions. Inks are easy to replace. The only bad point I guess is the cost of ink replacements. The cheapest I've found per cartridge is $14.95 each (there is 5 colour). The black cartridge is $24.95(much bigger size). Sometimes you can get a special deal at Harvey Norman for a bulk package of inks and photo paper for $69.99. For general printing, use less ink quality. What is annoying is device maintenance happens often, so you have to wait for that before you print anything.
