Huxley Electronic Drum Kit
1 review
Junk that Beats to its Own Rhythm – Cheap electronic drum kit bought from Aldi. I see why it was cheap; there’s a delay from hitting the drums and cymbals to hearing it through the headphones. And, the drums don’t distinguish between a light tap and a hard hit - it all sounds the same. But, annoyingly, the kit adds its own beat strength; I can hit the drum with the same pressure but every fourth hit it sounds louder - and I don’t want it to do this. The fourth thing I don’t like about it is some cymbals don’t register when hit. It’s basically a hunk of junk that turned my kid off wanting to learn and pay drums, so I threw it out and bought him a proper kit, which I wish I did in the first place.
