Phantom HoverboardMy son was barely off this from Xmas day to the day it started to develop a rattle a couple of weeks later. We contacted customer support and a few emails and calls later we’d sent the damaged hoverboard back and a replacement was on its way. Was pleasantly surprised with the quick response and their willingness to resolve the issue. Very happy kid here was only without his board 4-5 days and now the only time he’s not on it is when it’s charging. Thank you

Phantom HoverboardJust wanted to quickly jump in and recommend this AMAZING product from Santa! Kids have been on it Constantly since Christmas. It lasts for Ages! Incredibly intuitive device has allowed ALL AGES to ride it almost immediately! We go to the shops with it, friends houses, EVERYWHERE! Over Grass, bumps, rocks, twigs, this thing is a Beast!! If you're looking for a Hoverboard, then I have to say this Phantom 2 from HX is the Best that I've ridden!
It is heavy, but we easily cover a good 10km before getting a battery warning. Relatively easy

TERRIBLE - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Phantom HoverboardI bought my son a Hover Board 2.0 for Xmas 2020, which he saved and paid half of. It lasted 2 months before it started to show issues. I have tried contacting the company on several occasions via email and phone and have not had one reply. My son (7) is now left with a faulty product which he cant get fixed. What a way to ruin his want to keep working hard for nice things.

Yet when I checked the website it is still advertised for sale which is very misleading. Communication was poor it took several phone calls and emails of me to chase them about the refund.

Phantom HoverboardPurchased the new Hx hover board for my son. The service iv'e have through this company has been outstanding. The hover board it's self is fantastic quality and the sound system speakers are mind blowingly louds. We got the 10inch hover board its stylish and looks cool.

So in essence you pay for what u get. The HX hover board in my opinion is the BEST value for money that you can buy. And as for the customer service well I only wish more business were like them. . Is there a warning when the battery is about to runout?
I have been dumped off twice now, with no battery low warning, once at topspeed. It just turns itself off. I'm lucky I just pulled a muscle.
Is it the setting in LED Lights, VoiceControl? I turned that off, I think to save battery. There is nothing in the manual that says what that is. If it is that setting, if I turn that on, will it also give me speed warnings?

Yes. The Board has a warning (beeping) and also will slow down the hoverboard when the battery is getting low.
The board must be fully charged until the LED turns green in order to work it properly.
Please be aware the warning is not very loud. It may not be audible if riding in a noisy place or surface. The beeping warning cannot be turned off.
Yes, if you turn the voice control back on the speed warnings will return.

Thanks for your answer. I'd like to know *exactly* where the beeping comes from so I can ensure I haven't suppressed it at all by using tape to protect the board from scratches.

Thanks for getting back to me.
If you have your manual, you can look on page 4 and it shows on a diagram where the speaker is located. If you dont have easy access to the manual I can explain its location :)
If you are looking at the back of the unit, the speaker is located under the board on the lefthand side approx 5-10cms from the center of the board.
I hope that helps with locating the speaker so you will be able to hear the notification.
Please Note: We do not recommend covering the board with tape as it needs ventilation to work properly and covering it will stop the ventilation from being effective.

If you're talking about the area with all the small holes, I purposefully did not put any tape over that, so I don't know why I do not hear any beeping just before the board turns itself off.

At 20% battery: The Blue light flashes slowly and the alarms will sound.
At 5% battery: The Blue light flashes fast and the alarms sounds and lifts the footboard to stop rider to ride.
The hoverboard could go off without any warning if the rider uses rapid acceleration when the battery is low.
In the future if you are able to capture the moment on video so our support team can see the issue you have described previously with the board turning itself off.

Hi Suzanne, thanks for the answer. This info should be in the manual. Unfortunately, I have never observed any of those warnings, and have now sold the board, so I'm unable to do any further testing.
