VerifiedHi HX, we purchased the Phantom II about 1 year ago for my son. The lights have all stopped working completely except for 1 small rear light. The diagnostic scan on the app identifies no issues. Do you have any advice on how to rectify this? Thanks.

a quick question does the hoverboard have keys so people can't steal it?
Hello Namish, Please accept our sincere apologies for our delayed response. The HX Hoverboard does not feature any keys that prevent them from stealing. Only the HX Hoverboard Phantom 2.0 comes with a carry bag that people use to the place where they want to hover. Once done, they put it back and bring it back home.

Just bought the HX Phantom Race 8.5 and the first ride was great but after charge the motors aren't working and there is the audible alarm going off. I have tried to calibrate it but nothing seems to work.

Thank You for Your answer but the case seems more complicated-i bought it sexond hand-with a box and everything included plus i am in the UK so i would like to be able to simply buy a battery pack online but the only option is $129 which is more than i paid for the boars itself. HX Hoverboard 2.0: Is there a warning when the battery is about to runout? I have been dumped off twice now, with no battery low warning, once at topspeed. It just turns itself off. I'm lucky I just pulled a muscle. Is it the setting in LED Lights, VoiceControl? I turned that off, I think to save battery. There is nothing in the manual that says what that is. If it is that setting, if I turn that on, will it also give me speed warnings?
Hello Goodvibes2, Thank you for taking the time to write to us and I am sorry to hear about your pulled muscle. I hope you are feeling better. Yes. The Board has a warning (beeping) and also will slow down the hoverboard when the battery is getting low.
The board must be fully charged until the LED turns green in order to work it properly.
Please be aware the warning is not very loud. It may not be audible if riding in a noisy place or surface. The beeping warning cannot be turned off.
Yes, if you turn the voice control back on the speed warnings will return.

Thanks for your answer. I'd like to know *exactly* where the beeping comes from so I can ensure I haven't suppressed it at all by using tape to protect the board from scratches.
Hello Goodvibes2, Thanks for getting back to me. If you have your manual, you can look on page 4 and it shows on a diagram where the speaker is located. If you dont have easy access to the manual I can explain its location :)
If you are looking at the back of the unit, the speaker is located under the board on the lefthand side approx 5-10cms from the center of the board.
I hope that helps with locating the speaker so you will be able to hear the notification.
Please Note: We do not recommend covering the board with tape as it needs ventilation to work properly and covering it will stop the ventilation from being effective.

If you're talking about the area with all the small holes, I purposefully did not put any tape over that, so I don't know why I do not hear any beeping just before the board turns itself off.
Hello Goodvibes2, At 20% battery: The Blue light flashes slowly and the alarms will sound. At 5% battery: The Blue light flashes fast and the alarms sounds and lifts the footboard to stop rider to ride.
The hoverboard could go off without any warning if the rider uses rapid acceleration when the battery is low.
In the future if you are able to capture the moment on video so our support team can see the issue you have described previously with the board turning itself off.

Hi Suzanne, thanks for the answer. This info should be in the manual. Unfortunately, I have never observed any of those warnings, and have now sold the board, so I'm unable to do any further testing.

I purchases a 2 hover boards a couple of Christmas's ago for my daughters they still ride them regularly and we are very happy with the product. A friend had a tumble off the board which has cracked the top plastic cover. It is a 10 inch HX Hoverboard in Blue the older style I think? Can we order parts for this and is it hard to fit? Also do you have instructions of how to turn off the overspend alerts one of the boards constantly repeats this which is very annoying for us parents lol! Also one of the broads seems much more touchy than the other and often starts shaking and trows the rider off is this normal of is there a reset adjustment that can be done to stop this?

No I never received the 10” only the standard 6.5 inch. They said it was nothing they could do to get me what I ordered. I feel like it was just a bait and switch tactic.
