ik Multimedia iRig HD 2

Worked well Untill Best Before Date! – The iRig interface worked well although a bit difficult to set up. When it was set up right I was very impressed but a few years on I was in my guitar stuff and picked up the unit, yuck !!!! the casing although stored in a cool dry place in my guitar hard case as well had reached its best before date ! The plastic has turned into a yucky pies of toxic waste! I had to get a plastic bag to pick it up and dispose of it. The plastic had gone soft and sticky and pieces were just dropping off exposing the circuit boards inside. Not what I would have expected, I have media equipment that has lasted for 10 times the length of time and it is still operational and not all sticky and yuck. Would I buy another one, probably not given its not too good material life.
