Perfect for our needs – We needed cheap storage and this ticked all the boxes. Came flat packed and put together easily. Feels surprisingly sturdy. Cheers ikea from Phil n Michelle, we'll be back in your maze soon!

Excellent – These wardrobes from Ikea are great. I bought 4 of them and they're so easy to put together. Once you have assembled one the others take about 20 minutes it's that easy. Highly recommend.

Good – Take your time and you'll have a really nice product for yourself with this one. We assembled this over the course of a few hours spread over three days. Following instructions, we found the doors shut slightly inwards - desirable at that stage of construction - but they weren't flush. So, we then tweaked them using the ingenious adjustable… Read more

hinge system (on page 12) BEFORE placing the door stoppers (on page 9). The result: doors that finish darned flush as possible (open or closed) on a DIY wardrobe - and that close together with a gentle whoosh of air, at that.

To assemble, you'll need: a small hammer and a range of small/small-medium screwdrivers - available from bargain stores. As mentioned, the flat pack this comes in from IKEA fits in a small hatchback car but any passenger will be in an uncomfy and unsafe forward position.

Each wardrobe leg is held in by one screw and a dowel, so can't push wardrobe across floor by self without risk of damage, but am considering adding castor wheels and/or metal brackets. Lift upright during assembly - with care. If your floor is uneven, this wardrobe can be attached to wall with flimsy pieces provided. Also, it's not strong enough to support kids who want to play hide 'n seek. At the IKEA store we witnessed a kid enthusiastically hide from parents inside a display model which was luckily bolted to support flooring. Oh, and the clear panels on the doors can dint fairly easily - especially if moving house.

IKEA now selling for $89, down from $129 - likely because the floor panel has misplaced screw-in prompts which cause confusion at the very first stage. These misplaced screw-in prompts aren't noticeable when wardrobe is assembled.

There's matching furniture in the Aneboda range.

Overall: very, very pleased. Stylish, clean lines. Affordable. Compact. Wonky and flimsy if you rush construction or push it around.

Good – The last place we lived in was a very tiny apartment and we were in desperate need of extra storage space and needed to do on the cheap. Ikea was the obvious choice for us. We found this great little wardrobe and made a few changes to it by adding two extra shelves and it suited our needs at the time. 5 years later it is still in use but now in… Read more

our babies bedroom. As previously mentioned, we are definitely getting our money worth from this one. A great little wardrobe that has seen two house shifts and has been used a variety of ways. Was cheap so we have got our money's worth for sure. Was very easy to assemble and came in a flat pack small enough to fit in a small hatchback. Not very sturdy. I don't mind but some people wouldn't like DIY furniture.

Good – Great purchase, very practicle and much better value for money then similar items on the market, I saw something similar in a storage solutions store for nearly twice the price. Also you can buy this in a smaller size (half the width) and it has shelves - we have this in the laundry for storage Very affordable, nice looking clean and fresh, basic… Read more ·  1

and practicle, easy to put together It had a bit of a dusty / wood chip smell for a while - I was overly aware of this though as they are in the babies bedroom, but am sure they are fine! Not overly sturdy but you get what you pay for.

Good – it was well worth the money after looking around at plenty of other wardrobes and will look nice in a room with white furniture sturdy and holds a fair bit of weight, looks very nice. the peices werent entirely square so when you see the back it looks a little dodgy

It is not the toughest of products, not a long term solutions for storage . It has good momentary use and great value for money. Many storage uses around the house, great as a… Read more

Excellent – this wardrobe is cheap, but also good in quality and the design is great. The only problem was that the assembly was hard, we did it in one go but the doors werent on properly, but it worked fine and was just a tad wonky (the doors were). We bought two of them years ago and are still using them now, the condition has not changed. All in all, a GREAT buy! Cheap, good quality, good colours, great design hard to assemble

Excellent – Gee $120? What a bargain. We bought two white ones. Look fab on dark wood floor. We love our robes, they have a movable shelf so you can have overhead storage or a shoe rack. You can hang clothes without having to put at an angle as the depth is decent. Being white, you can use in the laundry or kitchen at a later date if you want cheap units… Read more

too!

I'd totally recommend these for the price. Easy to clean, attractive, easy assemble, decent hanging space that goes across unit and decent depth for hangers. Multi usage!

Terrible – Unsteady wardrobe that is a very poor quality, instructions were missing and had to go pick up instrustions from store or wait 5 days for them to post out, and when we did i had to wait one hour for someone to get a copy for us. Buyer beware its not as simple as they claim in their TV adds. Pity i cant rate this lower than one i don't think I will… Read more
