Ikea FJÄDRAR Cushion Pad

IKEA DUCK FEATHER INSERTS SMELL OF ROTTING FLESH – Beware these IKEA FJADRAR Duck Feather Cushion Inserts made in China. They have a nauseating stench of rotting flesh. They must have been plucked from live ducks and the flesh came off with the feathers. When you purchase them they have been machine wrapped so you can’t smell the strong offensive odour.
Beware the Fowl Foe: This Cushion Pad is the Pits! – Thinking of upgrading your sofa with this cushion pad? Think again, unless you enjoy the delightful aroma of a pond after feeding day. That's right, this pad unleashes an unmistakable duck-poop odor that lingers like a bad dream. Fluff it once, and you'll be showered in feather dust, courtesy of its shoddy construction. But the nightmare doesn't end there. We, in our misguided optimism, attempted to banish the stench with the washing machine. Big mistake. Three cycles and an overnight soak later, the pad emerged shredded, reeking, and with our laundry machine now resembling a feathered war zone. Ikea's return policy? Forget it. Once you unleash the fowl fury, you're stuck. So, heed our feathered plea: do not buy this pad. Save yourself the olfactory assault, the dust explosion, and the washing machine meltdown.
Instead, invest in your comfort and hygiene. Your nose (and sofa) will thank you.
