the IKEA supplied plastic is 1.99mm. That is 0.63mm thinner on the plastic side! They broke and one can see this is mechanical stress (look at the jagged edges). Since I have invested time (transport for example and they heavy etc) I will not return them to store but hopefully I made the point why this is a failure for other people to avoid. I can get on with the bad melamine film where once can see the overlapping edges. Is too soon to tell if this will make the 365 days but if they don't they will get it back and I will update the post.
