I have two of these, and they are very useful. The frame seems to be made of mdf board and covered with melamine, and is 1.9 cms thick. The shelves are 1.9 cms thick. Where there are inset panels, such as the doors, they are 1.6 cms on the edges. It is inset on both sides of these 1.6 cm ones. The total weight of the unit is 103 kilograms, which comes in three packages. I could not lift any of them. It took two professional builders a day to assemble and mount each cupboard.
