Hi. Just recently moved into a new home we have an ILVE. Have just noticed the orange lite is flickering and the green lights are on. The oven is completely off. What should I do?

I have an double oven as per the above...purchased in 2005. But last Tuesday 02-08-2016. I tried cooking a steak in the smaller oven and turn on to the top electric element and it not getting hot anymore...then i try to turn on the bottom element it is working. Therefore should I replace the new electric element in the top one? Can you tell me where can i buy the correct element to replace it and (Anywhere near by Liverpool area at Sydney) ?

A few weeks ago I tried cooking a cake in the smaller oven, the top got burnt but the rest of the cake was quite uncooked. I thought I had put the setting on grill however when I checked it was on conventional. Today I decided to cook a roast, once again trying the smaller oven. It too was burning on the top and again I had the setting on conventional oven. I had noticed that the orange light was still on despite the oven being on for well over half an hour. The temperature was set at 175.

I have an double oven as per the above...purchased in2003. At the time there was a big problem with the seal...got a new Ilve employee sent to change it ...but I think it is still he wrong one..How can I sort this out? The bigger oven has quite a gap and the hot air coming out today is amazing!

Hi JOJO It's hard to give an acurate diagnoses without physically looking at the oven, however it does sound like the hinges on the bigger oven need to maybe be replaced. To be able to assist you please contact the ILVE service team on 1300 856 411 and select option 1.
