to check. Okay, but I doubt you'll find anything was my reply. Well... Jordan knew EXACTLY what to look for and HOW to look for it. I just love the damp chalk method - which makes sense IF you think about it. I was busy with health issues so was extremely happy to sign up for Insurance Claims Group to handle everything on my behalf. Next was Joel who did all the hard 'find and tag' job before the Insurance Company building assessor arrived and documented everything for the claim. Brock handled the first part of the claim and Scope of Works and he had some back and forth 'discussions' with the Insurance Company to get a deal for me. Swetha then took over and handled everything right through to the final cash settlement with the Insurance Company and also went over the final Scope of Works and Contract with me explaining everything and answering any questions I had. I took the opportunity to replace the old solar roof ventilators (my expense as not damaged) which I was thinking were due to expire - house is just under 15 years old. I had the site visit with the builder yesterday and the roofing guys will be next to do the exact measurements etc. I have found the whole process easy and hassle free from my perspective, and YES, dealing with Insurance Companies IS time consuming, drawn out and they want to pay as little as possible. I'm just glad the ICG Team did all of that on my behalf as I don't think my blood pressure would have stood all hassle. Many thanks to the Team for the effort put in on my behalf.

submitted the claim on our behalf right there on the spot. They clearly explained every step, were completely transparent, and stayed super responsive through their app while helping us get all the documents and insurer requirements sorted.

Special shoutout to Jordan, who first got us started on this journey — friendly, proactive, and made everything feel easy from the get-go. Brock and Swetha were incredible in making sure the insurer had covered everything they should, working closely with Joel, ICG’s builder, who was super friendly on site and coordinated all the assessments perfectly. And a big thank you to Darren, who looked after us towards the end and made sure our unique requirements were included in the scope of works — leaving us even better off than before the storm!

Without ICG, we never would have known to challenge the first assessor’s findings — or realised that the initial assessor didn’t even hold a builder’s licence. Thanks to their expertise and transparency, we ended up with a thorough claim process, a fair payout, and the flexibility to reallocate costs where we wanted to upgrade.

Do not go anywhere near these guys, they are scammers. We signed up with them last September for hail damage. They were all promises and saying how they would look after us with the claim. detailed enough for their builders to work off so they were waiting for that. Every time I tried to call or email I got no answer or response for months. In march I got a call saying they had received the scope and the builders are pricing it up, this was the third email stating this (previously Jan and Feb). I requested the scope and it was the exact same one sent from NRMA back in November. All I got back was “is it”. They said they would set up a meet to go through it in a week or so. I heard nothing. I finally had enough and told them I no longer needed their services in April. They have since call a couple of times until today the send me a bill for services rendered. They provided no service, I haven’t received anything from these guys. Be assured they will just string it out until you had enough and then bill you. I’m not the only one that they have done this too. I know of 2 others they have done exactly the same. We have contacted NRMA and NRMA's records show many of the claims IGC have made in relation to corresponding with NRMA are false. They have just issued a 4th email of demand for payment even after we have replied to everyone asking for evidence of service for their claim. They have not replied to any of our emails or our request for a dispute resolution.
