iTechworld DCDC and MPPT Battery Charger iTECHDCDC40

Purchased March 2023. It wasn't until May 2025 that I found out that the battery wasn't charging from solar input. I have returned the charger to ITECH who have tested it and found it defective. It is not able to be repaired, so I am waiting for a refund or replacement under Australian Consumer Law. I have since received a replacement which seems to be working okay.
Purchased in at ITECH for $399.
Purchased November 2022. Charges 2nd battery well from the alternator. I recently mounted a solar panel on the vehicle roof, and discovered that the dual input from solar doesn’t work. When I bypass the DC-DC charger and use a separate MPPT solar controller I get great charge. The iTechworld 40A DC-DC dual input charger is faulty and the solar input does not work.
