Brilliant program, unbrilliant service – Update (4 Sept 2023) Scripts are randomly stopping part way through and the program is closing. Looking at alternatives. Before you as- I turned it off and on again. I performed a factory reset on my laptop and installed JB Macro-recorder from scratch, problem persists. ----- This is a macro-recorder for the thinking idiot. It has a record function allowing it to script as you perform functions. It has an edit function allowing you to clean up the script. This has its own language, but you don't need to learn it straight up. Learn to use the Record and Playback settings in Options. So much easier to learn from then on.
I paid for the Lifetime Subscription, thinking I would have a program for life, and then I lost the registration code. The website promises free RC replacement and my attempts to contact 'Vlad' went no-where for more than 12 months. Eventually, an acquaintance contacted Vlad on my behalf, and she was given my registration code, without proving she actually knew me, and I was being ignored on the same days.
The best Automation Software from the worst Company – Update 23 March 2023 I performed a factory reset on an older laptop, with the intention of installing Macro-recorder, and letting it churn away while I work on a faster machine. The License Key I have is for V5.8.1.0, which is no longer available for download. V5.9.0.0 is available but I need to pay to upgrade. I paid for a full license and I am locked out. I contacted Support earlier this week and I have not had a reply, despite advertising their Support Servces. ---- Despite being the best of many programs I have come across, Jit Bit put Macro Recorder a distant 2nd from its flagship product. One of the reasons I paid for the full license was the 12month unlocked trial version (with updates) and then a perpetual license (without further updates). I performed a factory reset on my laptop and have lost the license key/ serial number. I have contacted Jit Bit many times via email and social-media and no-one has responded. A friend has contacted them, on my behalf and they are responding to her, but the responses could be sent from a BOT.
