Not even 1 star Worst experience ever . Wouldn’t provide me with the prescription medication I take daily . Abusive staff with lack of empathy to the elderly . I will bypass this hospital each and every time I need care . Outright POOR

Not happy Jan – During the admission of my wife as a private patient at Joondalup Hospital, I felt as thou I was not welcome to accompany my wife during her admission. It wasn't until I protested, that I was allowed to be present during the paper work but was not permitted to accompany her to the ward. It left me feeling as useless as a third armpit.

Defeating – Sat in ED for 3hrs in agony to be given Panadol!! Had to have gall bladder removed. Sadly when the drain tube were removed it spewed bile out from the tube/abdomen point as it had been in the wrong area and filling my abdominal cavity. lots of 'not needed' death due to outright negligence.

I want to bless this hospital although they are utterly uneducated.

The nursing care is outstanding – I was recently an inpatient for a couple of days following a surgical procedure. I have to say how impressed I was with the nursing staff in particular. I was in Ward H2 and no matter how run off their feet these nurses were they always came into the room with a smile. They were reassuring and caring at all times and I was so grateful for their… Read more

care. My surgeon and anesthetist were great as well but its the nurses who do the heavy lifting when it comes to patient care. Thankyou to all of you wonderful ladies who took care of me.

Unpleasant experience – Food was terrible until they give me a different menu to choose from. No pain management at all after surgery. Not even a hot water bottle or heat pad. As they said they don’t do it. Hollywood private hospital much more better than here.
