Kaiser baas x 80 battery life – Received this camera last Friday from More Computers very quick delivery next day in fact very pleased the managing of the set up was not straightforward 2 buttons you have to toggle, between them think I have the hang of it, Battery life is only 80 minutes claimed 2.5 hours I. E. 150 minutes this reminds me of Car mpg quoted by Manufacturers way out why do they need to do this only one loser the customer still not a bad Camera.

Kaiser Baas not an easy to use action cam- A few tweaks and would be as good as a GO Pro ? – Had this over a year now, but in my previous review i still feel its over complicated and hard to use. The menu button send you crazy, the feature so you can use it upside down - (car dash i used it for fixtures wrong way up) stays upside down and needs reset to go back to normal. why is their not an ordinary bracket so you can use and charge as a dash cam multi purpose then? - filmed half my holiday upside down, aaa.

Very hard to see if camera recording especially in bright light. couldn't even see recording light and also you have to record your face to look at the light-why not put it on the screen or back? no warning when battery getting low just cuts out. No idea how to use the wi fi or wrist band remote- gave up. VLC media download doesnt always work properly? will try others but VLC has good snap shots . Jim White Scotland

Great Image Quality, Reasonable Price but Beware the Fittings – I bought the X80 for a charity abseil I'm doing this weekend and the camera works great straight out of the box but it only comes with an adhesive dashboard mount, all other mounts being optional extras. I bought two different types of helmet mount neither of which worked properly, the slotted helmet mount being completely useless so I took it back and I fixed the other one by replacing the nut and bolt.

The camera is easy to operate and the picture quality is good on the HD seting though you don't seem to be able to turn off the really annoying beep each time you push a button and it has frozen on me twice in the 24 hours since I bought it.

That having been said, at the JB HIFI price of about $185 including memory card and helmet mount it suits my purposes well enough as I simply could not justify the $500++ for the GoPro equivalent. Good image quality at a reasonable price Poorly engineered mounts and annoying beep
