wife gave it a test run and thought it was very stable. Two dolphins joined me on the paddle back. After replacing the trolley, I walked it home. A guy took a picture for his daughter who is looking for a kayak. A quick rinse and I stood the kayak up inside the garage. A very successful maiden voyage. I'm taking the fishing gear next time. Very comfortable.

Not watertight – Purchased 3 years ago and have been reasonably happy with it except for one major issue. The kayak will fill with 2-3 litres of water after three hours on the water. If I'm fishing all day, the kayak will need to be emptied at least twice over the course of six hours, otherwise it starts to effect the handling. The plastic sleeves that the rudder… Read more

cables run through became brittle after 15 months and have all deteriorated, so I don't use the rudder anymore (which isn't a big issue). Was looking at upgrading to the next gen 11, but will probably go another brand now.

Disappointed Purchase – Features of the Nextgen 10 tick all the box’s for a fishing kayak but I’m very disappointed with the quality of the rudder and control system, 2 piece paddle fell apart during assembly, the majority of the screws and attachments throughout the craft were loose and not assembled correctly. Lightweight, great fishing kayak – Only 23 kg,..(sold my pedal kayak 'cos too heavy @ 42kg)..easy to load/unload on my own..(64y.o.)...powered up with 44lb thrust electric motor (4.5kg) & 2 x 50 amp lithium polymer batteries.(6kg).. very functional freshwater fishing craft, steers well & very stable...no paddling involved, fish all day..power to spare....
