Choking hazard health and safety issue cat nip cat toy – Choking hazard health and safety issue cat nip cat toy Toy has a severe health and safety choking hazard and both of my cats nearly swallowed this ball object which would’ve been critical and life-threatening. The hazard is what appears to be a hard rubber ball which could be swallowed, choked on, create an obstruction in the intestine and blockage or stop breathing in my cats.

Manufacturer advises this is a ball of cat nip (which I believe is chokeable) and it is hard and appears to be rubber. Without a proper analysis of composition this is yet to be determined. Furthermore, REGARDLESS of the composition of the object the size and hardness of the object would still have the dangerous effect to my cats lives.

It is also not stitched into the toy and the cats can access this ball.

Cats are drawn to the object because it is covered in the cat nip and it can be swallowed.
