Kelso Wheelbarrow – Manufacted in China with cheap Chinese steel. Arms rusted out in 3 years. My previous Kelso wheelbarrow is still working after 30 years. Was a reputable go to brand. Very disappointed.
Despite what some others say, Kelso has been excellent – I read various reviews which seemed damning but I wanted 27 doors of various types and couldn't fault the doors or the price. The service was straightforward the doors were correctly sized, square, straight, undamaged and best price around. The manager even organised a delivery to a regional area not usually covered. They were easy to deal with… Read more
and I am happy with the results. I dont know what other customers experienced that warranted the bad reviews, but for me it was just what I wanted
Great service – Great service, great product! Purchased doors and accessories for both my properties and I cannot fault them! Mark the manager is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.
Avoid this place – Purchased an item I did not need based on salesman’s advise and the sample item in the showroom which did not have an overflow. Was replacing my vanity to be told I needed a new pop waste as my existing vanity had an overflow and the new one did not only to find out when plumber opened the box that the new vanity did indeed have an overflow. When I went to return pop waste was told they don’t refund even though I was sold it when not needed
Timber – Excellent place, lovely service, adequate time allocated to Workout the timber required. It’s an awesome place to shop and Mark is very helpful. I have visited the warehouse several times now. No regrets!
Terrible service /refused a refund – I special ordered some doors, when they arrived they were the wrong size. They admitted fault but refused to reorder or give a refund. I chased them for weeks and when ever I go into the shop Michael the manager runs away and hides.
Don’t waste your money on a Kelso wheelbarrow – After 21 years , my Trusty reliable wheelbarrow of a different brand finally gave way when the wheel bearings fell apart, so I decided to buy myself a new wheelbarrow , biggest mistake I have ever made as I decided to purchase a Kelso trade quality wheelbarrow, and after just 3 weeks of owning it and using it 2 times the poly tray cracked to the… Read more
point it was unusable as it is very brittle and thin, so I contacted Kelso to make them aware of my customer dissatisfaction and unfortunately that was the biggest waste of my time as they displayed absolutely no interest in my my concerns or care about customer satisfaction policies what so ever in fact they pretty much said it was my fault because I had thrown sharp objects in it and had caused it to crack ??? , the funny thing is I used it exactly the same way I had been using my 21 year old Barrow , that being for loading firewood in and the tray hasn’t Even got one crack at all , So in my opinion Kelso brand of barrow is very inferior in compared to other brands on the market , so buyer please beware , we got stung , hopefully no one else will be. Thank you.
Bad service – They start of to be the great and helpful but after they take your money they dont want to know. Bought a door which was supposed to ha ve 6.38mil saftey glass. All we did was stain door then cut 7mm off the top and went to install it and noticed the glass has cracked. It has a timber pannel in d center of it. Which is held with 6 alan key screws.… Read more
No rubber gromet between screws and glass. I was told 2 differant reasons as to how the glass broke.
First i was told someone stood on d the glass.
Today he tell me something differant that possibly cutting the 7mm off the top may have cracked it. Using a festool saw one of the most smoothest saws.
It funny how one of sales men here keeps changing stories today he said to another person that it is now the responsibility of the person who cut down the door.
Not even a phone call to me, to try and resolve.
Can;t stress enough do not buy from these guys
