ONLY suitable as single (or perhaps 2) 12v/24v battery applications I tried to use these batteries in a 48v (4 in series) small cottage application and because 1 battery failed within 12 months the whole system failed at 120ah charge/discharge every day or only 60% of it's capacity - the weakest link effect! The replacement battery was under warranty fully no charge replacement but is different for both size and terminal locations so a 48volt use is no longer suitable as it's not even the same type of battery let alone OF THE SAME BATCH Kings recommend for 48v 4 x 12 in series operation reliability
I purchased another brand (Pow(XX)Mr - name made cryptic to avoid legal issues) AND THEY HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS and much lower cost
I think Kings oversold these as far as 48V use, but i am certain they would be fine for say 12v x 2 in parallel or perhaps 24v use 2 x in series. But with their designs chanGing 3 x times in 3 years i wonder if even that is too much ?
Purchased in for $699.
1st battery we bought went faulty after 12 months. 2 nd one was working fine but we are having issues with it not keeping charge while we free camping around Tassie. Had it on charge for 4 hours (generator) at 20Amps and lever went from 12.9 to only 13. 13.4 is full. One night it only dropped 0.1 volts. Great. The next night it dropped below 11 volts and cut out. No, we didn’t do anything different.
Purchased at 4WD Supacentre for $700.

Kings 200 ah lithium battery – These batteries are great … lightweight.. I use them in my slide on camper to run my 240 volt application via an inverter
Purchased in at Adventure Kings for $699.
Poor quality misleading specifications overheats and strung out refund process – I purchase 2 lithium batteries 12V 200A Kings branded batteries on the 14th July. The battery were received and charged to full capacity 14.4V. The battery was then discharged at 200A using an 12V inverter. The battery shuts off after 20 minutes and the top cover reaches 55+ deg C in an air-conditioned room which is 22 deg C. The cover deforms and bulges. This does not fit its specifications of 200A continuous in ambient up to 55 Deg C.
The battery was retested at 100A and the performance was fine. and it delivered it name plate capacity without shutting itself off. The build quality is poor. The battery terminals spin when you tighten the terminal bolt. I have never seen this happen before and it is shocking and you would never want to see something like this especially on a lithium battery. Defects and incorrect specifications i can live with but when I contacted the store in Malaga Perth to change the battery I was told it needs testing for 2 days to verify the complaint. Its been 2 days and no one has contacted me on the progress of the claim. In the meantime the second battery terminals failed and became loose. I tried calling the returns line and each time was on hold for 35 Minutes. I think the returns is purposely made as arduous as possible so you give up so if you need to return it because you claim its faulty be prepared to go through a huge process or delay your camping trip as now your equipment is undergoing a long drawn process with the store for a refund. When I requested to speak to the store manager I was informed that the Perth store has no phone number and you cannot speak to a person /manager. In summery I believe the product is incorrectly advertised ie specifications are overstretched and if you complain you will get the corporate runaround and phone waiting game. The service and the quality is so bad I have to let the public know. Do not buy this from 4WDrive Supa Store go to a smaller shop who will give you proper customer service.
