3 years in and going strong, this battery is a beast and I’m beyond happy.
it seems ok but despite buying the largest battery available it seems like I need to double it as it isn't able to support what I am running. That… Read more
said it wasn't for camping use as I am running a band saw and industrial fan with it otherwise I very happy with it.

I’m currently a full time nomad living the dream, I’ve have a Kings 40ltr fridge in my ute that I use as a dedicated freezer for almost four years… Read more
about eighteen months ago when in Adelaide my freezer died just out of warranty of course, I contacted Kings they asked me to take it in for testing which I did, following testing it was replaced without question.
Full marks to Kings on that one I am impressed. At that time Kings had 120ah lithium batteries on special so I decided to get one to replace my heavy 120ah agm battery, I had recently upgraded my dc to dc charger and solar controller to Victron lithium compatible units in anticipation of change to come.
I have two 140w solar panels on the ute, after installing the battery the freezer sat happily at -18 to -20, this was in summer with long daylight hours followed by short night hours however come winter with less daylight hours and more night hours even though fully charged the battery runs down and is unable to keep the temp at -18 by morning, the performance is disappointing being roughly on par with the previous 120ah agm, I’m happy about the weight saving but I’m back to connecting into the caravan battery bank overnight.
Next time I’ll look beyond the price.
Cheers John

Testing and benefit of the 4 x 100AH Lithium Battery with the Itech 2000 watts invertor – 4 x 100AH Lithium Battery and a 2000 watts Itech Invertor. It's been a few months since I did my first review and wanted to update everyone. We have… Read more
just come back from 10 days down south of Western Australia, I found the best thing about the Itech system was how convenient it made traveling. we could pull over in an offroad parking bay, boil a kettle and make a hot toasty sandwich within a few minutes. I also tested the 2000 watts invertor using the caravan air con and it ran the air con for 4 hours which I thought was good.
I bought this about 8months ago and have used it on 3 camping trips so far and it works flawlessly, much better then the Deep Cycle AGM's I used to… Read more
use. The battery is much lighter, holds charge extremely well when not in use and charges quickly. Very happy with the purchase and would buy another.

and because 1 battery failed within 12 months the whole system failed at 120ah charge/discharge every day or only 60% of it's capacity - the weakest link effect!
The replacement battery was under warranty fully no charge replacement but is different for both size and terminal locations so a 48volt use is no longer suitable as it's not even the same type of battery let alone OF THE SAME BATCH Kings recommend for 48v 4 x 12 in series operation reliability
I purchased another brand (Pow(XX)Mr - name made cryptic to avoid legal issues) AND THEY HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS and much lower cost
I think Kings oversold these as far as 48V use, but i am certain they would be fine for say 12v x 2 in parallel or perhaps 24v use 2 x in series. But with their designs chanGing 3 x times in 3 years i wonder if even that is too much ?
Works really well holds charge & dose a great job with all my 12 volt products .
A great product that has truly made our off grid camping experience worlds better. Powering our fridge and lights is now easy.

behind the middle seats of my 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport ,it’s now powering my fridge 24/7 keeping my lunch cool on my long trip to work everyday without any issues, coupled with my dcdc charger, 1500w inverter and 170w rooftop solar panel it’s now the perfect accompaniment to my refrigeration and electrical needs out in the bush. Got both the battery and tray delivered down to Shell Harbour for $320 , absolute bargain
had a few problems at start with this product but after a long investigation it was my wiring harness after fixing this problem the bat block hasn't missed a beat. one of the best purchases I have made.
It's very reliable and space saving for our business and we have charged many devices and also run the king's fridge as well it is great for us as the vehicle usb doesn't charge as quick, so it is very handy for our business
Power to Go! – I love camping. It probably comes from my time in the Army, but the relaxation as night sets in, nothing beats it. I also like a good cappuccino… Read more
most mornings, whether I’m camping or not. To achieve this, I decided that none of the offerings for ‘mobile coffee’ for camping were really any good. The solution, sources a small, quality 240V, low Wattage cappuccino machine, then create a 12V system with an inverter to convert that to 240V in a usable form. Simple, right?
Well, there was a bit of maths, some electrical knowledge and understanding exactly what was needed. First, a cappuccino machine, done. Then an inverter, sorted. So a battery . . .
In steps the KickAss 12V 200Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Battery. Withe the ability to hold a massive 200Ah, this beast has more than enough power to give. I need up to 200A output. A bonus with the KickAss LifePo4 Battery is it can also recharge at 200A, so if you hook it up to an alternator in your vehicle, probably an hour or two, fully recharged!
Because I am converting it to 240V, I need and am provided with 200A of output! Now some will think, 200A to make a coffee? well, for ~2-3 minutes yes, it’s a lot less the rest of the process.
As these are LiFePo4 batteries, you can drain them down ALL the way, unlike AGM batteries which hit 50% and are now in desperate need of recharge. So, I guess you may become the campsite barista for an hour or so.
All this power is worth nothing if it weighs too much. Well, the LiFePo4 200A weighs in at a piddling 20kg. About as much as a carton of the amber ale! These batteries use prismatic cells, ensuring superior quality and performance.
OK, you say, but what about getting it recharged? Solar! During the day. It is primarily used first thing in the morning. So, after a couple of hours, it will be fully recharged.
Ah but how many times, before the battery dies, like those pesky AGM batteries? well, you can cycle the recharge about 4000 times, plus the battery has a 5 YEAR WARRANTY!
Of course if you have a larger bush unit, you can link these in series or parallel, to provide more power and more delivery.
I’ve housed mine in the front ‘tool box’, coupled to a lithium solar controller. I have mounted an Anderson plug for the solar inlet and a second Anderson plug for 12V output (lower amperage). For the connection to the KickAss PureSine Wave Inverter, I have used a 500A Oversized Anderson Plug, which looks comical, to say the least. But to move that current, it’s necessary.
Does it all work? Yup. Makes a perfect cappuccino, just like at home and fills the campsite with the fresh aroma of coffee in under 5 minutes!
Over the years, I have used a range of batteries and this is the pinnacle. The capacity, output, recharge capabilities, make this the ultimate in mobile power delivery.
Spent a lot at 4wd super centre, and everything works great. Rooftop tent 270 awning 12v setup and 3000w inverter 300ah lithium. Absolute value for money.

batteries operate an 80LB electric trolling motor and run a 50 litre fridge as well. They work pretty hard, at times pulling well in excess of 50 amps constantly at peak load. They also charge from the outboard via a DCDC charger. After this length of time, there has been no drop in performance and I love them. The bluetooth battery monitoring system is amazing, being able to see current charge or discharge, individual cell voltage to monitor any individual cell issues and cycles as well as % state of charge. Cell voltages have always remained balanced, only 4 cycles showing after this time as it rarely drops below 80% even after a hard day as the DCDC charger virtually has it back near 100% by the time I get to the boat ramp. When purchasing these originally, the technical feedback and response from the vendor was excellent helping to make the purchase decision easier. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to purchase even if they are a little more expensive.

battery monitor as I was changing from agm and to lithiums. They never missed a beat. Since then I have bought a 3rd battery to run in the Ute and after 6 months of daily use on some of the harshest roads in Australia all 3 are going perfectly.

Gentrax Lithium Battery – Battery was delivered very quickly and running the fridge in the back of the Ute well. No issues and will be considering a couple of the 200ah for our caravan. Great Product at a fantastic price.

convenience no better than an old VLA battery. This is not stated anywhere obvious prior to purchase and the information is buried in the warranty fine print. The manufacturers technical department state the BMS circuitry may become detached with vibrations and cause short circuit and fire. Simply if the build quality is this bad it will definitely not perform effectively nor safely for the intended purpose upright or otherwise and potentially burn your Van/ Camper/ Car or all of them to the ground. Several other Lithium battery brand have no problem with alternative mounting. I'm fortunate the supplier took it back and refunded me. I've bought another brand Lithium battery that states and warrants, it can be mounted on its side.

and it stopped charging. Between the first use and it sitting in a re-sellers workshop waiting for a part to repair it I am still without a battery for camping and now the warranty has expired. I knew the warranty was going to expire before i got the product back so I asked them to honor a warranty extension or renewal - they refused. I will be interesting to see where this all lands but it wont be in the buyers best interest this i guarantee.
