however, not both ends and not on the back side. One end, at the front. What it essentially means is that the top won't shut down fully on the cabinet, and if I push it down too hard, one of the doors won't slide at all. It's a shame, its a nice looking product, but I can't recommend it. I'm keeping this one, because frankly the idea of taking it all apart and putting it back in the box to take it back to the store is something I just don't want to deal with. It does the job of keeping my shoes off the floor, it looks reasonable where it is, and luckily the side that doesn't open properly is where I keep the shoes I rarely wear. However, $82 is a lot to pay for something that won't open properly.
Will break. Very poor design – The product looks good, but the screws go into the endgrain, which is notorious for splitting. One of my screws did that, and when I checked the same join on the other side, it had split as well. Another shelf had already split along glue lines in the box. Tried to review the product on the Kmart website, bit it seems only online buyers have the option.
