Kmart Anko Cat Toy Multi Teaser Wand

potentially dangerous - the blue ribbons on the scrunchy plastic toy are really weak and my cat threw up a part of one this morning (i put her in front of the litter box when i heard her throwing up, she didnt throw up litter pellets). the string through the middle of the fuzzy worm one unravels and releases little bits of fluff; had to pull one out of my cats mouth before she ate it the other day. the wand itself is a hazard too, her claw got hooked in the clip that the toys attach to and she got scared and ran away with the whole wand stuck to her, and i dont like how thin it is at the end, it just about feels sharp. havent used the wand since then, ive tied the toys to pieces of rope. the other attachments havent been played with as much so im not sure about the risks of those ones.

HIGHLY DANGEROUS CAT TOY! BEWARE! – My cat swallowed at least 3 long foil ribbons on one of the attachments to this wand while we were playing with it. It happened so fast. These foil ribbons are so easily & quickly bitten off & swallowed. He was then at risk of a life threatening bowel obstruction. I had 4 agonising days waiting. Much to my utter relief they came out in his poo, however this could have had a much worse ending. Kmart is still selling this highly dangerous toy in spite of me contacting them to tell them what happened.

Don't buy, or keep in high place – I don't suggest buying this if you believe your cat will eat it. Or just keep it in a high place. My cat has eaten mostly all of the string and I'm just immensely worried at this point.
