I’ve had this tv for about 6 years. It’s suddenly not getting any pictures or sound. Complete black screen.

You are fortunate. These TV’s are rubbish, if you check here you will see many sad stories about these and about Kogan. Unfortunately it’s a new TV.

my screen is black and the green light doesnt work anymore.I shone a torch at the screen and it still seems to be working.

Unfortunately, you have bought a crap tv. Try and claim the fault for a refund from Kogan if it is still under warranty. I had to go to NSW Fairtrading but eventually got a full refund. Now got an LG.

The screen has gone very dark and I can barely see anything. The Kogan brand name flickers for half a second when turning on then goes dark. Please help

How do I stop the volume or any up and down function on the TV , going up or down by itself once pressed. To stop I double tap on the remote control, I have tried another remote no change so its the TV.Very strange and frustrating.

I've had this TV for 1 year and 1 week and recently started to have issues when using HDMI devices i.e apple TV. The screen will black out or not present video, just audio. I've replaced the apple TV and HDMI cables including using expensive high end versions. I've tested on all 4 HDMI ports with the same effect. Would a hard reset of the TV do anything to clear this or is the HDMI component stuffed?

Mate I’m m not sure about your tv maybe it’s different in mine. have u turn wifi on??

I believe that if your TV is NOT a smart TV then you wont have this option; smart TV's also have various apps installed like Netflix. How i work around this is use the HDMI connection and plug into my computer and access Netflix for example and watch it on the larger screen rather than the computer. Hope this is of some assistance.

I just received this model and have only been able to display HD resolution via the HDMI ports. Any signal at a higher resolution results in a black screen. I have read the signal needs to be forced to 30 HZ(HDMI 1.4) is this correct ?

Hi, I can confirm this TV will support 4K at 60HZ. I'd suggest ensuring you're using a HDMI 2.0 cable, and try plugging it into the HDMI 1 port. This TV does not support HDR, so if you're connecting a device such as a PS4 or Xbox One S, you'll need to switch off HDR to use the 4K function with this TV.
