single file so that you eventually ran out of space on the SD card and it would shut down. A friend also bought one at the same time. Plugged it in to charge and it started smoking. Not worth the trouble to return. You have been warned.

Reasonable camera with some damaging flaws – EDIT: Reduced to one star. I have contacted support as directed however haven't received a response in over three weeks. fairly bright. Has some good, eye catching flashing patterns. - Camera (excl. mount) easy to set up and use straight out of the box. - Price. When I bought this it was on sale for a significant discount. The price reduces the flaws a little.

Cons: - Timestamp on footage is out by a little over 2 hours, though I imagine this would differ depending on where in the world you are. If you're ever in the unfortunate situation in which you need to use the footage for an incident report, the timestamp being out is a HUGE issue. There is no way to correct this. The manual does not have any instructions on how to do it and troubleshooting from the internet does not help. - Camera locks footage regularly when there is no incident. Nothing in the direct vicinity. It reads bumps off the road. This is not a huge issue for me, but it does mean you need to clean out the memory more often, possibly after every ride depending on how long you ride for and how big your memory card is. - The mount. The mount is awful. It's fiddly to set up and has so many moving parts. Once you get it on, it stays held securely, I can't fault that. HOWEVER! There is no place that I can put this on my bike where my legs don't hit it in my pedal stroke. I have tried flipping the bracket bolts around to face the other way, but when I do, the camera bolt is unable to be screwed in. There are places that I am able to minimise the contact, but there is nowhere that I can put it that is completely out of the way. I will have to find a way to modify the mount to be out of the way because at the moment for anything longer than a ride to the shops, this mount makes the camera unfortunately almost unusable.

Two failed inside 6 months – This is an update to my review from November 2019. I took my concerns to Dick Smith and they thought it might be faulty and sent a replacement. (Thank you.) stopped working. The camera still works but you can't tell what's going on without the lights and there isn't room on my bike for this and a proper rear light.

Basic light / camera – PROS : Cheaper than other market products. Does the job of recording and able to read number plates of cars if not shooting up sun. CONS : Looping feature for recording video doesn't work sometimes and does not overwrite old files. So you run out of memory to record with no warning indication.
