Dreadful experience with the watch and Swatch Group – I agree with some of the reviews on this site. My experience with the watch has been dreadful. The watch broke down in the 1st month after purchase and has never been accurate. I recently had a full service with the Swatch Group after promise of fix. It took 3 repairs and 9 months the watch sits in repair centre, it still break down. The… Read more

experience of dealing with the service centre was unpleasant. Think again before you spend money on watch and repair. The repair cost $330!

Watch doesn't work and customer service never respond – Bought a Longines watch in June. The watch doesnt work in spite of having been repaired 3 times. Have spoken to customer service twice and they promised to get back to me but didn't bother. Have left 2 more messages but not one calls back. Really for a prestige product! Show details

Not worth the money! – I originally bought this watch because I loved the look of it - big face and slim lines. I have had this watch for almost 16 years. This watch breaks down all the time, and it is very costly to maintain! Approximately every 16 months the watch stops! So you put it in for a service. They replace the winder, hands, battery, and seals and then the… Read more

watch has to be sealed again and pressure tested. The serving and maintenance costs arount $230 each time.

It’s a real lemon. if i had my time again i would not buy this watch.

Dreadful! – Winder keeps coming out and watch stops- back twice for repairs within two month period. Did not work properly for even one week after purchase. Can't use it as not reliable.

Look great, but lemons! – Bought this watch, with diamonds, for my wife as a "push present.". Over $2000. Has mother of pearl face. Well, after a few months it needed to be repaired under warrantee. No biggs. I think it was the battery. Then, i noticed recently that the mop face was blackened slightly. N a ring from the centre, as if some residue from the inner… Read more

workings had made it out. It was still working, but looked awful. Sent it in for a quote. The quote was $750 not including gst. Nearly had a heart attack. Are you telling me that replacing the mechanism is $750? Total joke. There was a list of issues, but seriously, can't be that bad as it still works! Ske to jeweller, and he said the swatch group australia are the worst to deal with. Rep is not helpful. They own so many brands, they don't care about customer service and they don't care about customer loyalty. All i can say is stay away from longines. So, i got the watch back and will buy my wife a brand that actually cares about its products and customers... Look elegant Poor manufacturing, poor quality for the money, no customer service from swatch group australia

Very poor customer service – email between me and Longines in Australia So let me get this straight. I returned the watch in June to Maroochydore (this you can confirm with them) after it not working properly since I got it as the problem only occurring when I had to change the time between states during daylight saving. " Hi [name removed], According to our system our… Read more

workshop replaced a battery on the 28/06/2012 ( job#1522337) which is the first job. The second job, as stated on the return slip stated 'No Fault Found'.

Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvience that this has caused.

They played with it without your knowledge for at least a month claiming that first it was the battery and then there was nothing wrong then you collected for the last month. You state that it is now well out of warranty and as per your report scratched everywhere and that the " however the service required is well within the four (4) to five (5) year service intervals expected by Longines" So the part of the watch which should have lasted between 4 and 5 years before maintenance is broken and you want me to pay for it to be fixed. I gather you will not be replacing the case or the band in this process just the part the should have a service life of 4-5 years. Am I correct.

By the way a copy of the warranty and the docket was set to you in the original Box which you returned.

Am I asking too much from a company of the presence of Longines for service and quality that I have so know in the past?

The first return was within two days of the warranty expiring. It's very flat and lightness The Service and that I had trouble every time I need to change the time
