Laithwaites are the ideal avenue for trying out wines that you don't normally come across in the typical big retailers. Many of them have been reviewed by critics anyway but just don't find their way into the mainstream. If you're looking to find something different then Laithwaites offers so many lesser known labels and often some of the bigger labels can be found at value prices. Give them a try. Show reply

Excellent quality wines at a competitive price. Discounts are even available for seniors. Staff are excellent at responding to client requests on the phone and always approachable. Great quality Australian wines and they source wonderful wines from Europe, including Moldova, which has supplied Russian royalty for 100s of years! Laithwaites offer a wide variety of quality wine's,sourced from Australian wineries as well as great wine regions from overseas. My preference is reds over whites and although they offer money back if any particular wine does not meet your expectations, I have never had to return a single bottle. The supply of consistently good wine at a great price,as well as free delivery for their "Unlimited" members makes Laithwaites a logical choice. Show reply

Laithwaites themselves are great to deal with, but they are badly let down by their "transport partner" Aramex. When the business is totally reliant on deliveries, it is not helpful when the deliveries are not made within stated timeframes and tracking of packages seems fictional. 2 minutes between the package being loaded and then being unable… Read more

to deliver seems very strange; and this was supposedly the second attempt at delivery to an address with 24 hour parcel locker availability.

Much of the wine offered is unknown wineries so difficult to get independent assessment of quality and value Many wines seem made especially for Laithwaites and therefore and independent value of wine is not possible so discount prices impossible to collaborate

Generally good but am not and will not be influenced by signing up to getting regular shipments or sign up to the freight discount. I will only purchase wines that I like and when I want them.

Easy to use website. Plenty of choice of different wines and varied prices. Some from overseas but mainly Australian wine. Easy to use straight away or to cellar. Would recommend this company..

Outstanding choice of wines. We use our personal wine consultant within Laithwaites and the process is more than simple. Every explained and references to our wine preferences has been excellent. Not quite sure whether our living on the Sunshine Coast affects delivery but that is great as well.

Laithwaite's own regular packages are, in my view, a liitle overpriced compared to other on-line wine merchants, particularly in recent times where there is an oversupply of wine from most grower regions. Show details

I recently had an issue with a delivery that was damaged enroute, prior to reaching me. Unfortunately the handling of it’s return to Lathwaites was poorly handled by their courier, which resulted in an unnecessary delay. Once I spoke to Lathwaites customer service team, a replacement carton of wine was immediately dispatched by express courier to minimise any further delays and this was greatly appreciated. Show reply

They were remarkably efficient when the transport damaged the carton and had to be returned to the depot. We also had issues with our online order and accidentally doubled our monthly order and they were very quick at returning our over payment. money and Show reply

To my taste I found the last shipment I received from Laithwaites to be not good apart from ‘ The Black Pig ‘ red wine which I gave 4/5 rating. To that end, I will not be buying from them again.

I have bought many wines from Laithwaites and they are always good, well priced and arrive in a very short time despite the fact that i live in a rural area. The advertising is accurate with many attractive deals on offer; the website is easy to use and on the rare occasion when I have needed help, the customer service representatives have been great.
