After my swab sample was taken by the GP at Pacific Medical Centre Blacktown and the sample was dropped in the Sample collection box at Pacific Medical Centre a week after I was called to know that my sample was not found and I was asked to get the swab again. after one week my wound was dried up. were they asking me to cut the would again and get the swab? charged for no service...ridiculous
ZERO stars and NOT recommended. Charged me a bill that they should not have charged me. Impossible to reach on phone - multiple times - today is 45 mins waiting and no answer. I wrote details in their feedback portal which they ignored. Kept sending bills and now a final demand and not answering phone. This is a ripoff where there is no way to correct an inappropriate charge. I will report to Health Ombudsman and Medicare. Never again

leave I say goodbye. when they first started collecting my wifes blood they sent two women as they wern't sure if it was safe for them then when they worked out I was not a threat only one attended. Now infront of my wife and a support lady in her forth year with us I am supposidly have acted inappropiatel with them while wearing my 69 birthday shirt given to me by the young support lady who has been with us for 2 years her husband a graphic artist made the shirt. Because of Laverty's acusactions I lost my voice temporarilly and this is just so wrong for laverty's regional boss to make these false acusations just to get out of collecting my wives blood. I'm 69 my wife is 66 with early onset dementia they have made so much money from us since their buisness first opened so many years ago. 1 star for poor outsourced customer service. I called to ask about a discrepancy on the invoice. On hold was about 40 mins and the agent didn't know how to answer my question. A couple of weeks later, I received a final notice to pay the invoice. I emailed customer service through their contact form. No reply. I then received a message from a debt collector to pay the invoice.
They lost money from bad service and losing customer trust. I will not be getting tests done with Laverty again.

she had a bad day and was hungry. She told me to go to Brunken Rd.Adamstown.Because it was raining and I had day before asthma attack I had to beg her to take me. The time was 1.40 pm.The staff member got very angry and said...you are very entitled , are you? She was angry and didn't stop complaining while she did the blood test.I started to cry...she gave me a tissue and said...sorry darling. The worst of the worst, absolutely horrible customer service and chaotic accounting team. They have stuffed up an invoice then send my details to collecting agency and I am not even aware that I have to pay or even have an outstanding invoice !! Now they breached my privacy and gave my information to third party without any valid reason AND I AM TAKING THEM TO COURT !! Stay away from this company

Advised that test would be bulkbilled as I was a pensioner. Pension number was provided. Several days later received an sms invoice for one of the tests. For two days I have waited in a queue for over an hour to query account but did not receive response. Staff are good but will refuse to use them again.
Follow-up · Call centre was always busy even at time it opened. waited over an hour for no response . Email not answered and a week later received a reminder. Paid bill to save hassles. Have regular blood tests but no longer using Laverty despite Gps referral to them.
Rang Panania yesterday and the woman told me she is not there tomorrow. I then rang their main office number and was told it will be open,someone will be there. Waited until 7.15 with another 7 angry people, noone showed. Checking the website today at 8am still says it's open

post office. Paid at post office and then waited for receipt so could claim from Medicare. Didn't arrive after a few weeks so phoned and was told paperwork would be sent in 3 to 5 working days. Waited a few weeks and rang again. Was told again, 3 to 5 working days, so I waited again. Nothing happened so I contacted by email giving details and dates, but again nothing happened. Have lost confidence in laverty pathology, I wonder what processes are in place if I cannot get a receipt for payment after making 3 attempts. Still waiting for a paper receipt since July

GOLD result. Attempts to contact Accounts to resolve the issue were unsuccessful, as no one answered the calls. Consequently, I had to obtain another referral and repeat the test—yet again, I did not receive any payment notification. This repeated failure reflects a serious breakdown in communication and process.
My wife requires a holter monitor. She booked in twice within a week and both appointments (East Maitland and then Maitland) were cancelled at short notice (first on the same day and second on the day before). She had an appointment at Maitland today (9:50 am) and the placed is closed. (413 High Street Maitland).

loud to the lady for her to put them into the system. At this point I regretted ever walking in there. Ever since, I have been receiving texts messages saying I have an overdue invoice. I am not exaggerating when I say I have been waiting hours to be helped. Only on my pobably 7th attempt after another 45 min wait I finally came through. Turns out my invoice was paid. Ofcourse. Overall, horrible and really time consuming experience. Will never go back and can't believe anything like this exists in Australia in 2026.

Laverty Burwood. Attempted 3 times to get simple blood test ( I was fasting ) unsuccessfully between 9am and 1030 am. Numbering system not being used. Instead pathology was saying NEXT which resulted in people jumping the queue. Under up leaving and going the Douglas Hanly Moir nearby. Save yourself lots of stress ! Don’t go there !

minutes. She then informed me that she would be departing in 15 minutes and that I would need to return the following day as she wouldn’t take my blood. . She provided me with another urine jar for a fresh sample when I can next make it, requiring another trip into town. I would have been less frustrated if she had been more direct at 3:30pm, stating that she does not attend to patients during the final 30 minutes of her shift. This experience has been particularly disappointing as I am trying to reduce my fuel consumption.

difficult. When I asked for water the nurse said I should have bought my own. The nurse then locked the door , of a very small waiting room, and would admit no more patients, even though the advertised closing time was way off. The nurse was stretched beyond her capacity. receipt is a basic legal and professional obligation, particularly when patients require documentation for reimbursement or personal records. The lack of transparency and accountability in this matter is deeply concerning.
I have wasted considerable time trying to obtain something that should have been issued automatically. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will be lodging a formal complaint with Fair Trading and pursuing the issue further.

sent to debt collectors arma, and I received couple of sms followed by a notice of referral letter given me 14 days to pay. Calling Laverty unlimited times with no one picked up the phone., also they don’t have an email address for contact. I felt forced to pay the bill without proper clarification on it. I wouldn’t recommend.
