where I discovered the bigger issue. Even with the volume turned all the way down, the turntable’s internal speakers keep playing sound when using the LINE OUT connection. There’s no way to mute or disable them. You cannot connect the sound via Bluetooth either.

If you use a LINE out connection, it means you end up with two audio sources playing at the same time, with the low-quality sound from the internal speakers interfering with the better sound from external speakers. This limitation isn’t mentioned anywhere in the product description or specifications. If I had known this before buying, I wouldn’t have purchased it.

I contacted Lenoxx to request a refund, but they refused and treated it as a “Change of Mind” return with a 25% restocking fee, even though this limitation was never disclosed.

I then tried to get help from Kogan, as the retailer, but received no support so far. It's been over two weeks. I'm extremely frustrated!

I’m sharing this review so that other buyers are aware of this issue before making a purchase. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from Kogan or Lenoxx.

Great , – Great but unfortunately I have not been able to connect the Bluetooth, very frustrating as it was one of the reasons I bought it.

Great – I was able to play cds, cassettes, fm/am radio, vinyl records and songs off my phone using the Bluetooth function. You are also able to record with it though I haven’t tested it. Despite other negative reviews, buttons work great and it doesn’t skip. Any who say that may just be dealing with a damaged cd etc.

A good unit, but some disappointment – Radio and record functions are good - excellent sound from speakers. The cd function is also good - BUT - the open/close button is problematic - it sticks. If I persevere with it by repeatedly (and gently!) pushing the button, it will eventually open but it takes a lot of patience and perseverance. they`re doing, but I live in a small town with no electronics shop and would have to drive for two hours to have it serviced. Very frustrating when I`m pleased with everything else about the unit!

Recording from CD to USB works, but don't expect the audio file to work anywhere but the music centre – I purchased this music centre almost exclusively for the recording CD to USB functionality. Lenoxx. Recording from CD to USB works, but the audio file recorded by the Music Centre is corrupt and will not work anywhere but the music centre, and I wanted the music files to work ANYWHERE but the music centre.

I spent about a month, multiple phone calls, back and forth, with Lenoxx, trying to determine the problem. I reformatted the USB stick to a variety of formats. I tried the USB stick on more than one computer. I tried saving and moving other files using the USB stick. The consistent fault was the audio files recorded by the Music Centre, being corrupt on all other devices tested.

When Lennoxx asked about my purchase date (after a month of testing), they told me that the warranty had expired. When I tried to assert my Australian Consumer Law rights (the device is only 18 months old), they responded that the warranty had expired, and that I shouldn't expect any fix.

When I went to my State Consumer body, they lied about the situation, telling them that my USB stick was faulty (which I had tested and it successfully moves ALL other files from device to device), AND they totally avoided the fact that they told me the warranty expired.

Really disappointed.

second unit just stopped working – i was excited about the arrival of this music centre but quickly turn to disappointment when near new CDs were skipping , dealing with Kogan was a nightmare but managed to get a refund , bought a second unit the same and i have used it dozen times and the on/off switch doesn't power up the unit , it basically played a CD and switch itself off forever

Great sound, exactly as described and easy to set up – The machine plays all my cds, cassettes, records and fm radio. Allow me to record to ujsb/ cd. It allows you to add external speakersto boost the sound. Simple to setup - took a couple of minutes. Easy to use. Its a great piece of furniture. Show details

Just perfect and practical – Appreciate how hard it is to use a USB to record from CD, turn style records and cassette. I like the style and colour of it. At least it doesn’t take up the space. Show details
